This theater was filthy. We tried to see a movie on a Saturday night. I would guess there were maybe 30 other people in the theater for this show, and at least 15 of them were disturbing the rest of us. I mean talking throughout the entire thing, answering their cell phones (after numerous rings), throwing things, etc. I got up after about 20 min. to complain to management, who entered the theater and asked 2 people to leave. Kudos on their part. However, that did not seem to deter the rest of the rude people. Finally, we decided to leave because it just wasn't worth it. They would not give us our money back, but they did offer us free passes to another movie. I doubt we will be using them.
Our dining experience last night was disappointing. Despite being one of MAYBE 4 other parties in the entire restaurant, the service was incredibly slow and almost non-existant. Our waiter was nice enough, but we rarely saw him. We were there over an hour, and only ordered pie. It seems odd that pie would take so long to serve, since it is premade. My French Silk Pie was delicious and looked exactly like the picture in the menu! However, noone else was very happy with their orders. The apple pie got "a little melted in the heating process" which I think was a nice way of saying "oops we zapped it too long in the microwave." It was oozing all over the plate and collapsed. It looked more like apple pie-soup. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
I used to love Gaston Family Docs when Dr. Johnson still worked there. When she left, the young doctor who took her place was very dissapointing because he seemed very nervous and couldn't help me at all with some paperwork I needed him to fill out. I also waited for over an hour in the waiting room, even though I had an appt.
We got married here, and it was absolutely gorgeous. We've been back a few times since, and every time we go we are amazed. I highly recommend the Christmas time display of lights. Bundle up and get ready to experience beauty.
Sophie's Choice catered our wedding. Although Maria, the owner, may come across as harsh, she really pulls out all the stops to make your day perfect. The food was outstanding, people still talk about it to this day.
These ladies did our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the result. Kathleen, the owner, went above and beyond the call of duty for a florist and helped with decorating and even helped the caterer get set up. The end product was absolutely perfect. She has great ideas and really knows her flora.
Calvary Chapel is one of the best churches we have ever attended. The pastor, Bob Caldwell, is incredibly knowledgable and his "sermons" are laid out more like bible studies instead of preachy speeches. I learn a lot there, the message isn't filled with fluff but gets straight to the heart of a Christ-centered church.
Carla has been doing my mom's hair for over 10 years. She has since moved companies/locations but she has always been friendly and very good at what she does.
A+ Chiro is a clean office with a friendly doctor. It was a little out of my way, so I stopped going after a few visits. The doctor performed a detailed computerized scan of my back. I thought the technology used was great. You get a print out of your back and what is wrong with it.
Nina and John are fantastic artists. They did our wedding and we were thrilled with the outcome. They will photograph your entire day. Ours started at 9:30am at a coffee shop and they were there. Right through to the stroll downtown after the reception. We got a ton of great photos to remember our special day. They are outstandingly polite and their expertise is impressive. They even put one of our pictures on their brochure! Pricey but WELL worth it!!!!!
