This is a great swapmeet for the fact they do not just specialize in one single subject. They have evrything from clothes to furniture. The best thing is they are not all used things they sell. They have cute little ornaments for the house. Even though some things are sometimes not of the best quality they are pretty affordable. They also sell food from burgers to ribs to corn on the cob. This is actually a good family experience and it is open air to to enjoy those good Las Vegas days.
My husband and I were out one night and found ourselves with nothing to do we decided to go in to take a look. We really were not expecting to find anything just kill some time. This is a fun place to look around and open your eyes to things you did not even knew existed. Thye actually had some good deals on videos and Dvd's. We grabbed a couple and it was a god bargain. I do not belive they are all new but they are not in bad shape. YOu need to try this place out for yourself.
I do not know why they keep making more of these facilities around town. They are not a help to the community but a burden. I walked in this place when I busted open my hand and they seem to not even care. They had rows and rows of people just sitting there for hours. The place was a complete mess and the chair and floor lookde filty. I felt bad for all those people sitting there lookind depressed. This is a public hospital and they will admit bum from the streets. They really need other places to stick uninsured people in. They need to destroy all these facilities and make good quick care facilities for all. I did not stay there long but I have not visited since. This place is just as bad as its originating hospital.
When we were looking for apartments my father in law suggested we stay were he lived at. It looks alright nothing fancy. The colors of green doors and ugly interior is a major draw back. We went to take a look and just one day at that place left me wanting to say never. There are millions of dirty nasty kids running around everywhere. I saw one woman with seven kids and they were in soggy dirty diapers. The kids sat there and threw rocks at my father in laws' apartment and people were just sitting outside starring at anyone who passed by as though eyeing your every move. My father in laws' neighbors car had actually been stolen from outside his apartment twice. This place should not be anywhere anyone in the right mind would want to live. I was disgusted with just a couple of hours there.
At one point in time my family and I found ourselves in between houes. We had just moved out of our rental home and our first time buyer house was still awaiting close. We neede a good priced hotel and at last minute at that. I ahd never heard of Arizona Charlies a co worker actually recommended it. They were great I have no complaints. They have nice rooms and everything looked clean and inviting. The buffet was great. You know how most buffets at good prices do not have a reputation of being all that good. Well that buffet was pretty good and affordable along with the room rate at about fouty five dollars a day a sapcious room at that. I would like to visit them again one day. I love it there I wanted to stay longer than my two day short stay.
When I went to visit my mother she cooke a steak that my husband loved. He asked her were she had bought that steak. He stated he had never tasted anything so good in his life. My mother told him about it and we were on our way. When my husband and I took one looke at the store it was great. They have steaks, chicken, goat, whole fish, pork, pigs feet anything you could ever think of and everything you might have never though of. We spend about fifty dollars and we got alot of meat. The meat looked so fresh, not like the prepackaged stuff you might find elsewhere. My husband loves that place and tells everyone if they want to eat "real" meat that is the way to go and the prices are great, on meat anyways.
The title should say it all. I was actually recomended to these apartments. So I trusted the people and went to take a look. You should never judge a book by it's cover. That is the only thing I learned. It seemed good at first but when we first moved in the problems arouse. Cockroaches starting coming out from everywhere. It was a nightmare. Everytime we looked the other way more would come out. I really do not even know where they came from. I know it was not us because before that we had never had a cockroach in any of our homes. To this day we have never had a coackroach in any of our homes. Cockroaches on the wall ceiling we even found one crawling on the bed one night while we were sleep my husband awoke to fin one crawling on his leg. The worst part is when we left we left the place spotless and they claimed we did not we got charged for damages that were there even before we moved in.
When my husband, daughter and I were waiting for our house to get built we needed a place to stay. We could not sign a lease because we didi not know when we would e getting our new house it would be anywhere between four to seven months. Also, we could not pay too much because we wanted it to be a time to save money to buy a new car and for furniture and moving expenses. They are pretty affordable at around 500 per month with all utilities and fully furnished or not, the choise is yours. The only problem is that it is not the best neighborhood or the quietest either. Children always running round people yelling and screaming. The laundromats are pretty dirty and stink really bad. Besides those factors I reccomend it only for just a couple of months this is not the place to raise a family.
when my husband and I bought our second car the tires were all wore out. Him and I both knew we needed to buy new tires but we did not dispose of that much money to get ome new tires. I satrted to call around town and the cheapest place was Las Vegas Tires. They were about fourty dollars cheaper than Walmart's tires. So I decided that would be were I would purchase the tires for the car. They were pretty fast and he tires were of good quality but they didi not align the car correctly. There was also not much of a warranty for the tires. So I am guessing that is were the cheaper prices take away from labor and warranty. Even when I got a flat we had to pay for the repair. So if you can afford to pay extra I would but if you cannot you must be aware you wont get the total package. As long as you are aware the choice is yours.
I was at work one day and the AC stopped working. We were hot and miserable. MY boss decided to call Bishop Air. They came in and took about two hours to finally tell us we would need a new unit. Well my boss agreed and they said it would have to wait until tommorrow. That meant we had to sit and suffer for the rest of my shift in the middle of the summer. Well they finally came back the next day later than what they had stated and supposively replaced the unit but in less than a week the AC stopped working again. My boss called and they said they had to wait until the next day to show up. Well they did but to this day we still have problems with the unit on a weekly basis and even more often. The AC seems to only cool whenit wants to. Not when we turn it on and it starts to blow hot air at time also. Thanks for all your help. The AC has a mind of its own.
