Grand Crew
I searched for my favorite wine store to write a review and almost missed it in the listing...it's Grand Cru!! Now, this place is the Mecca! I can go in once a week or so to try wines and get suggestions for wines to accompany meals. Outside the place on Friday evenings in summer, they have bands playing and its a wonderful atmosphere. The wines are fabulous and the event is so much fun!! Don't miss out!!
Bike Time
Unfortunately Bike Time is one of the only bike shops in Bel Air so there is no competition and no need to lower prices. The carry a great selection of bikes, but be prepared to pay a lot. They do offer bike repair as well, which is priced more reasonably. SO I guess you can buy your bike on-line much cheaper but get it serviced here locally.
Bagel Bistro
I first stopped into the Bagel Bistro when I had a coupon from the Entertainment book, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh warm New York style bagels. They had close to two dozen types to choose from along with a dozen smears to put on them. There were many locals that appeared to come in every morning, which is always a good sign.
Radcliffe Jewelers
Radcliffe is Not your typical mall jewelery store. I usually think jewelers in the mall are trashy and low class but not this one. Maybe because it is not a chain or maybe it's the great staff, but this place is great. They are authorized to sell brands no others can, like Tiffanys! They offer great repair services too.
J Brown Jewelers
J Brown has an amazing selection of diamonds and gems! We went in to look for my engagement ring and was given great service. We were even invited back to a special after hours party and sale. The sale was catered and we had a blast. They want their customers to feel comfortable in the store. I have heard they even loan out pieces to their better customers.
Martins west
We held our corporate crab feast at the Martin's West location. The food was only mediocre, the bar served low end brands and the decor was definitely leftover from the 1970s. I can not believe they have not updated it for so long. It certainly is the last place I would hold my wedding reception. It is definitely low class.
The Inn At Little Washington
Wow, what a place!! The Inn At Little Washington was amazing. The food was wonderful and guest rooms were great. The view from our suite was great. It has to be one of the best bed and breakfast's I have ever stayed in the mid-Atlantic region...but it comes at a price. This place is not cheap. The restaurant's chef is world renown. You can even buy his new cookbook as a souvenir of your trip.
Bel Air Alteration Shop
Right on Main Street is a great little alterations shop you should not miss. It's a small shop, but do big work. I dropped off a pair off of my dress pants and it only took the seamstress two minutes to mark them up. When I picked the pants up, I was amazed they were the perfect length and so little fuzz. The price was very reasonable and I did not have to pay until they were finished.
Della Notte Ristorante
At the end of Interstate 83 is a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Little Italy that sells amazing Italian and Mediterranean foods. I went for their Sunday Jazz brunch. It was a great deal, for less than $30 you could eat amazing foods and have all of the mimosas and bloody Marys you could drink!
Zelda Zen
Here's a unique store that sells a little bit of everything. They have all you need for your wedding party, the bridal party jewelry, hair accessories and other attendant gifts. The place has great inexpensive funky jewelry made by a local artist you won't be able to find anywhere else, it was actually voted best of Baltimore for 2003 and 2005.
