Walnut Street Theater
I was strictly a NYC girl. My best friend kept raving about Walnut street theatre in Philly. I did give it a chance - impressed is not enough of a compliment!!! The show was incredible= the costumes, the set designs. We had great seats. Beauty and the Beast - the transformation into the prince- how did that happen right before my eyes?!!! Everybody - check it out - go in for a show here - you have a wide variety of restaurants to do dinner too.........the only thing was - the parking lot is not big enough ..........but since the show was sooo good - i didn't mind!!
David's Bridal
I did go to this store to purchase my wedding dress. Hopefull you only do it once in you life - and my time here was memorable. I say the dress i wanted on the manniquen. I tried one on that was my size - it was beautiful!! I felt like a princess. The girls were wonderful - they even seem excited too!!! My girls purchased their dress here too! A beautiful candy apple - but they have practically ever color you can imagine. The dresses came in quickly. The communication was excellent. Thans for making my time a a time to remember!!
Rag Shop
I love this ragShop. with all the new craft stores coming out - like Michaels's - which is way overpriced- The Rag Shop continues to have the same original patterns, flowers arrangements, craft items - all within a price range that is very much more suitable for the average working person. the people are always friendly, helpful and treat you with respect. The lines move fast and if you can't find somehting just ask , and someone will be on a ladder - trying to accommedate ya! Check this store out!!
Regal Burlington 20
This movie theater is just average. It is in a run down shopping center. It looks real old. The movie selection is slim to none. The prices are expensive, but i guess that's every movie theater. It is old inside - the bathroom was somewhat dirty - toliet seats- but that can happen anywhere i guess. I would just wait to rent the movies!!
Hair Port
i love Hair port because they do the best eye brow waxing. The way the girls wax is great because their tecnique doesn't hurt, i hardly get red, and the sleek way the eyebrows are left -- i feel like a movie star!! Prices are decent. The place is very modern in its decor - love that. All the girls are friendly, but call for an appointment because they book quickly!!
Adams & Assoc Pc
I hav been going to Adams and Associates for 4 years now!! Ed Adams is also a finance teacher at Rider University. Every year i have gone here the lines have been long, but Mr. Adams comes down between clients and says "hi" and give a time estimate of how much longer the wait will be. there is a TV in the waiting room and the sectretary's offer coffee etc. He does excellent work. The price is reasonable. He calls you back within a decent time frame. When i went to pick up my paperwork, everthing was neatly filed in a chart - my copy. Thanks for making income tax season quick and pleasant!!! C- You next year!!!
St Michael Catholic Church
I do go to this St. Michael's church for bingo. I love the bingo here. The pots to play for are decent. It usually doesn't get overally crowded. The little old men that sell the cards are super sweet. The only thing that they could improve on is better refreshments - there is hardly a selection. I also can't wait until they make it non-smoking b/c i come out smelling like smoke!!!
Tranquility Massage
My girlfriend and went down to AC for a weekend and decided to get a massage here. The massage was absoultely heavenly. It was long, they had soft music playing in the background. I felt like i was being hypnotized!! After we went to the Steam room and realxed in there. The only thing is that the food could have been a little better. The gym could have been a little bigger - they could have more machines. But overall i would go back here again for a massage!!!
Jeanne Michel Salon & Spa
I went in to Jeanne Michel for a full head of highlights, a cut, and a blowout. I do have very thick hair- and it is hard for people to do my hair. When the highlights are getting painted in my hair it takes her about 3hrs, usually it should take 45" -60"max. After that i have to sit under the heat lamp for a very long time before anyone comes to check me. Finally they bring me over to the sink and start taking out the tin foil. I see a wierd look on the girls face- like panic. She quick goes into the back and get sJeanne. They then both come over and say that they will have to put bleach in my hair because my hair is now literally ORANGE. i was livid and scared about my new look. Then afer this color is ready to come out, i look like i have blonde skunk stripes. She then procedes to cut my hair and i wanted layers- i didn't get what i was expecting. Then the blowout = i looked like i stuck my head in the socket. I complained - i still had to pay the money. A few days later - my hair is breaking off and is split in 3ways at the ends - i called them to complain. The girls said Jeanne was "unavailabe" the 2x's i called. Needless to say i never heard back from them. I tell everyone my story and NOT to go to Jeanne Michel Salon. They should better train their staff so situations like this do not occur ever again.
Columbus Central Veterinary
My best friend Michelle came home from work one day and found her cat in a pool of blood on the bathroom floor. She quick wrapped her in a towel and took her down the street to Columbus Veterinary hosp. The doctor here was fabulous because at first they didn't expect the cat -Disney - to make it. He gave Disney recieved excellent care- Disney needed IVs, medicine, blood, etc. The communication here was also appreciated. This hospital has tehs that stay over night and when Michelle called to check the status of her cat- all her concerns were addressed and it made her rest much easier. So a big Thank You to the best Veterniary hospitla around!!!
