Whitehouse Restaurant is a well known landmark for Moorestown residents. It is located in a small white corner shop and has been there for years and years. It is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They offer daily specials and have many regular customers. The food is really good and the wait staff is great. It is definately what you consider a hometown diner. Stools at the counter, lots of laughter and hot coffee. Enjoy!
As long as I have lived in Moorestown, I have never noticed this shop before. I stopped in yesterday while out shopping with my daughter. The guy working there was so nice and really helped me select the perfect watch for a gift for my husband. They offer a layaway program which I did not take advantage of this time. Prices are alot lower at this store than at the other jewelrey store in town. With Chritmas just around the corner, this is a great place to get quality jewelrey for lower prices.
Although The Cubby Hole has been in town for quite a while, I just stopped in for the first time yesterday. My daughter and I had walked uptown to browse the shops and since it was a bit chilly, we decided to stop and get a cup of coffee. They have the best coffee I have ever had!!! The place is a bit on the small side (cubby hole), but has that great homey feel to it. Besides coffee, they have a few selections for meals if you prefer. I didn't try the food while I was there, but it smelled delicious. I'm sure I will be back here quite soon.
A month ago I was having a get together for a bunch of my old friends. It was just to be a small lunch, so I called and ordered from Mooretown Deli and Catering. For about $150 they brought us two luch meat platters, complete with the fixin's (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, olives, etc) There were 50 club rolls included along with macaroni and potato salads. They even supplied the plasticware and paper products. The food was delicious and everyone was raving about the salads. I will be ordering from them again over the holiday season.
The talent that the photographers portray at this studio is outstanding! My children presented me with a gift of a portrait album of all of my grandchildren done by this studio. It was beautifully done.
Due to the obvious alent, my husband and I went to the studio to have ourselves photographed for our 30th wedding anniversary. We only had a few pictures done, but they turned out wonderful.
When it was recommended by my doctor that I start walking for at least 30 minutes a day, I figured that meant the rainy days, too.So, I went to Xplosion to check out the treadmills. The salesman there was very helpful and knowledgable about the different equipment they have. I bought a treadmill for about $300, but they have many other models at different prices. They also have weightlifting equipment and other excersise equipment like skimachines and ab machines. You are sure to fine what you need here.
I often go into this bookstore to browse around. I find alot of great things in here. They have a great selection of Bibles, Christian music of all types, books, etc. I like to purchase little rewards for my Sunday School class for learing their lessons. They also have different plaques, wall hangings, mugs and other things. The workers are very friendly and helpful. The prices are better than some other store I have been to.
The way kids go through sneakers, why pay full price at a regular sneaker store when you can get them for about half the price here. I buy my own sneakers here and buy several paire throughout the year for my grandkids. The prices are quite low and they have alot of sneakers that are in style. The one downfall of it being an outlet store, is that they may not have your size. I guarentee you will find something you like in your size, though.
In my opinion, Tacony Palmyra Flea Market is the best one around here. They have vendors selling everything that you can think of. They have used items, craft items and many vendors sell new items for much less than the asking price. They are open every Saturday and Sunday. One of my favorite times to go here is right before school starts. They have every school supply you will need and then some for very low prices. Sometimes you can even find someone out there selling sneakers and shoes for the kids for school. Great prices!
Sophes is a small gift shop the specializes in selling edible gift items. You will find several different flavors of fabulous fudge, cookies and candies. What I purchased before was a basket of sweetheart goodies for a Valentines treat for my grandkids. The basket was beautifully made and was overloaded with heart shaped cookies, candies and little heart shaped cakes. Since it was a childrens basket, there were even a few little toys included. My basket was around $30, which I found to be very much worth the price.
