This store sells lots and lots and lots of things for little girls. Many of the items are hand made. They have handmade clothing, jewelrey and even bedding all for little girls. The items that are not handmade are very original items that you will probably not find anywhere else. I have been to this store a few times and have purchased a little purse for my granddaughter. Thankfully, I was able to catch this purse on sale. The store is very high priced and is mostly way out of the average price range.
A few months ago I hired this company to reupholster my dining room chairs. The set had been in my dining room for several years and I was trying to find someone who could help it look new again. In only a few days they had my chairs back in my dining room and looking like new. I was so impressed. I also found out that they make custom slipcovers for your furniture, too. I am considering having slipcovers made for my dining room chairs for the sake of KEEPING them looking as beautiful as they do now. The prices of these services are about average for this type of service.
I often go into downtown Merchantville when I go visit my daughter. This is the restaurant that is a favorite of my youngest granddaughter. She loves to stop in here for a slice of their homemade apple pie (with vanilla ice cream, of course). I like to eat here for the friendly service and for their great sandwiches. It is a great place to stop and grab a bite when you are browsing through all of the local store on Centre Street, which I love to do.
I have ordered from this particular restaurant twice while the same disappointing results. The food was not very good and the portions were quite small for the prices they charge. I ordered a chicken and broccoli platter that had more fatty peices than edible pieces. the broccol was very soggy and not at all appetizing. I gave them another chance figuring this may have been just a fluke. My food the next time was just as bad. there are much better places to spend your money than this one.
The first and only time I ever tried sushi it was at this restaurant. My daughter brought me here for lunch and I figured I would give it a try. They make it look amazing. They have such a beautiful disply of all of the "fixin's" for sushi that I thought it would be okay. I ended up not careing for it at all and since I didn't like it and didn't eat it, the waiter didn't charde me for it. I thought this was avery generous thing to do, since it wasn't any fault of their. I have since been bac to the resaurant for their 'cooke' foods and have really enjoyed them. This is a great 'sit down' Chinese Resaurant.
Every so often, my husband and I get up early on Saturday mornings and go to Sage for their breakfast. I think they have the best breakfast around. They offer hearty portions of eggs, toast, homefries and your choice of meat for about $6.00. You can also get biscuits, bagel or a brekfast pastry that they make right on their premises. The coffee is wonderful. I have never found a better cup of coffee at any diner or restaurant. The food and service here is great and keeps us coming back.
Although this jewelery shop has been in town for many years, it is not on that I frequent. I have bought things from thwere in the past, but I have found that they are not any cheaper and the jewelry is not any nicer than the chain jewelers in the local Moorestown Mall. It is a very convenient place to go, however, for jewelrey repair. You can take what you need to be repaired to the shop and they will fix it for you that day if they can. Alot of places send your items out to be fixed, but they have a jeweler working right in the shop. I love this convenience.
The Victorian Lady is a wonderful bed and breakfast located. The entire 'house' is decorated victorian style and has many antiques throughout. There are two rooms available for stays. The owners are wonderful, warm, welcoming people who dotheir very best to make your stay memorable and pleasant. I have stayed in this bed and breakfast once although it is right where I live. My husband arranged a stay here for our anniversary a while back. Although near home, it felt like I was on a vacation. Prices are quite low for this type of establishment, which makes it great for mini getaways or for the wedding night before the honeymoon.
The Shoppe on Main Street is located inside a beautiful old Victorian house, which is quite suitable for this shop. Inside you will find some really unique pieces of furniture of great quality. You can get some new and some old, if you prefer. This store offers antiques as well as new pieces. I purshased a lovely piece of wall art for my entrancway which I love. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the shopping experience is terrific. They give very personal service and take pride in one on one service. The shop is open 7 days a week, with Sunday being by appointment only.
This is the best shop (in my opinion) on Main Street, or anywhere else. I can go into this shop and stay for hours just browsing all the great things they have and chatting with the shop owners. Every item in this shop is hand crafted. One of my favorite items they carry is the journals made out of handmade paper!!! These are so nice. They have a whole section of handcrafted jewelrey which tends to be a bit on the pricy side. Many of the pieces are definately worth the price. If you visit this shop you are sure to find something that you like and something in your price range.
