Shred Company
When I got married, we had out invitations printed from here. These people did a wonderful job. And what was really great was that they even printed out matching thank you notes for us. They were a pleasure to work with and gave us no hassles. Everything was completed on time and with no problems at all!
Fullerton Florists
I've been here a few times to pick up flower arrangements for friends. I like their arrangements and I think their flowers are fresh. The florist thats on duty can even arrange a boquet for you with the flowers of your choice. But I do think that they are really high priced. And parking can be really hard to find in the area!
Victory Records
When my church was having a fund raiser, we got shirts printed from this place. They did an excellent job. They gave us a great price and worked with us to come up with the perfect design. The staff here is really great and they really know how to get the job done right!
Des Plaines Public Library
This library is great. Its located in downtown Des Plaines very near to the train station. It has a really great atmosphere and you can get some great studying done here. Try out their special study room, which you rent out. They are super quiet and really shut out all noise so you can get a lot of work done. They, of course, have a wonderful selection of books for both work and leisure.
Tip Top Motel
One of my friends came in from England and she stayed at this motel. Its really an okay place. She got a discounted rate, but the service sucked here. The room wasn't that great and the bed wasn't really that comfortable. But she did get free cable and a free continental breakfast. I guess at that price, you really can't ask for much more.
Metro-Chicago Florist Delivery
I get flowers delivered to my mom from here every year on Mother's day and her birthday. Their flower arrangements are amazing! They do a wonderful job and all their flowers are fresh and beautiful. And they always get the job done right and delivered on time. I totally prefer them over 1800flowers.com or ftd.com.
E & S Auto Sales
I got a used car from here a couple of years ago. I got a great deal on a used car. The service here was great and the sales people were really friendly and seemed truly into making an honest sale. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't offer any sort of warranties on their cars.
Eden's Banquet
My friend held her wedding reception here. It was a very nice banquet hall with a great staff. The dinner here was great, and the servers did a very good job at serving everything on time and very nicely. My friend told me she got really reasonable rates too!
Sun King Optical
I took my mom here to get her eyes checked. Even though I had previously made an appointment, we had to wait so long in the waiting room! The optician was nice though and took his time doing a thorough job on the exam. They have a really nice selection of frames here as well. Besides the long wait, everything else was great.
Galt Toys & Galt Baby
Wow! This is a really cool shop to get nice toys for children. It is pretty pricey, but they have more than just the tradiotional Barbie and Playschool toys. They have lots of handmade items that make great gifts for children. I love buying their unique stuffed animals. It's on MIchigan Ave..so parking is an issue. Try to use public transportation if you can!
