Not only do they do hair and nails, but they also do waxing. I get a bikini wax about every other month. Although this is probably one of the most painful things to go and get done, the professional staff does a terrific job at making you as comfortable as possible. Prices are fairly reasonable. It is located in the Maui Marketplace next to Jamba Juice and Starbucks.
Inter-Island Solar Supply
This place is the greatest place to get your water heater or any solar supplies from. They have excellent customer service and knowledgable staff. Whatever you may need, they'll go over and beyond to help you. They accommodate you with delivery also. It is located in Kahului Industrial Area on Hukilike St, next to Pacific Sign & Design.
Connelly, Suni, Dc - Ohana Hale Chiropractic
This place is very thorough in taking precautions to treat your back. This might be obvious for some, but some places don't do this. They take a scan of your spine on the computer before they even think of touching your back. They have great customer service as well. It is located upstairs from Marco's Italian Restaurant on the corner of Dairy Rd/Hana Hwy.
Longs Drugs
Every month Longs has a week long sale that has everything that you may need for your household. From vienna sausage to paper plates to fabric softener. Prices are fairly cheap when you get it on sale. Look out for the sale book that comes in the mail. Parking is fairly reasonable because it is located at Maui Mall. It might not always be close parking, but you can usually always find parking here. Customer service is great. Sales people are kind and helpful.
Sew Special
This store has a wide variety of patterns and different types of fabrics. It's a great hobby to try and start doing. Beginner patterns are also available and are fairly easy to do. Great for doing car interior also. My husband actually did the interior for his car all by himself and he never sewed a day in his life. He covered it with purple velvet, even the roof. It came out really nice, but the velvet was pretty expensive. This store is the only fabric store that had the color and texture that he wanted.
Papyrus
Any kind of card or stationery that you need, they usually have it. Lots of creative cards to choose from. Holiday favors are always fun. Halloween favors are my favorite. Ghost pens, pumpkin erasers and more are great. It's worth checking out. It is located in the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center closest to Macy's. Parking is available and there is also a multi-level parking garage.
A Saigon Cafe
One of the greatest and oldest vietnamese restaurant in town. The service is awesome and the staff is very friendly and inviting. Anything you order from here is a winner. You order platters a la carte and share amongst eachother. Great for a bunch of hungry friends with a tight budget. Parking is very limited because it's located next to an apartment complex.
Buzzs Wharf Restaurant
I went here for my 1 year wedding anniversary and the food was outstanding. It was pretty busy at the time, but our service did not suffer due to this. We ordered a sashimi platter for about $13 and it was the freshest, most delicious raw fish I've tasted. This is a pretty expensive restaurant, but the food is worth the price. It's located at the marina in Maalaea, on your way to Lahaina. Parking is pretty open and available. Highly recommend.
L & L Drive-Inn
This location has the best orange chicken on the island. There are 3 locations: Lahaina, Kahului, Wailuku. I've found that this location has been the most consistent with their food. Another favorite is chicken with mushrooms and zucchini. Prices are fairly reasonable, they vary from $5 to $7 for a plate lunch. This location is located next to Sac 'N Save in Wailuku.
Sansei Seafood Restaurant
One of the best seafood restaurant's on Maui. There are 2 locations: Kihei and Lahaina. The best part of a late night snack is that after 10 p.m., sushi is 1/2 price. Right when you walk in, all you see is beautiful Japanese decor. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and courteous. My sister-in-law is from Japan and she recommended this place to me. She says that it's an authentic japanese restaurant. I agree.
