I went to Its In The Bag Gifts a couple of weeks ago with my Mom and her friend. They have a lot of stuff in there so there should be a little bit of something for everyone. Most of it was not very appealing to me. They did have some pretty nice jewelry and a lot of it was on sale. My mom and her friend really liked a lot of things in there.
I think that Pitaya has some pretty cool stuff. I would like to know what the name means. No one that works there seems to know. They have some nice clothes. They also have shoes and purses and hats and stuff like that. They have a really big selection of jewelry. Their prices are low.
I went to see Dr Bryne here for a mole last year. He was very nice. He seems to be very experienced with moles. He gave me quite a lecture about skin care and sunscreen and how he has patients in their 90s dying from malignant moles that could be prevented. I liked that. So obviously he is dedicated to his craft. He also keeps up with new and groundbreaking treatments and conferences and stuff. he's a really good doctor
yeah they suck. these guys have no competition, so what do they care, right? Well it really shows. I guess this job doesn't pay much because every driver I have ever had couldn't even bother to get their weekly shower in before coming to work. And they must stop for cigarettes on the way to pick you up like 4 times because it takes an hour for them to get there. Only use if you are drunk and thinking about driving home. And tip them a little so they can afford shampoo.
I have gone to church with my catholic friends several times. I have been to this student oriented church 2 or 3 times. Here's what I thought. It is nice that you can show up in sweat pants and a baseball hat, but that seems weird somehow. Maybe because all of the people there seemed hung over. Go figure at IU, right? It was laid back, but not very interesting and didn't feel very warm or welcoming. That could just be me though. Good option if you just want to roll out of bed and get it over with maybe.
I have been to Saint Charles several times. I am not Catholic myself, but i have a lot of friends who are. This is a very nice church. It's pretty big and it looks very nice inside. The sermons are, well sermons. Priest always does a good job and seems nice. All of the people there are really friendly and I never feel like a total dork because I don't know when to stand, sit or kneel or all of the little things you are supossed to say at certain times. Nice place.
Okay I went out here thinking that maybe I was going to learn alot about the Tibetan culture. As the name suggests. But there wasn't that much to it. There is a big monument thing which is cool looking and a plaque with writing in both English and Tibetan(?). And a circular path going around the structure. Some nice trees and a couple of benches. It's a nice spot to contemplate life I guess but it's not a spot to glean much info about Tibet.
I made the mistake of going here for my first appointment when I was actually sick. Appaerntly it is better if you can schedule your illness 2 to 3 weeks ahead. If you insist that you really are sick right now and they still don't want to fit you in, they will tell you to go to the emergency room. If you back down a little they might squeeze you in but be prepared to sit in the lobby for 2 or 3 hours and then spend another 45 minutes in the room waiting for the dr who only spends 3 or so minutes with you. Not cool.
I really like the student rec center. As a student it is free for me. I don't mind it being a meat market. Where on this campus (Indiana university) is it not a meat market? It's social hour every hour for sure. I think it's dope to be able to work out with the athletes at IU.
I think Cha Cha is an awesome store. If you have some cash to burn ( or a credit card!) go to Cha Cha. They have cool clothes. It's more like New York or Chicago style than Indiana. If you think of their stuff in those terms, they really aren't that expensive. Of course if you are used to Wal mart prices then you will think their prices are sky high. But you probably wouldn't be shopping there anyway.
