Four Seasons is one of the few places you can shop in the North Hills for high quality, semi-couture clothes that you wont find at the national chains. It is a very small store and tends to sell mostly evening clothes or very dressy clothes as oipposed to sportswear. A very nice alternative when you need something for a special evening.
Second Season is a great place to buy gently owned and sometimes new high quality clothes, shoes and jewelry at a fraction of their original cost. The owner only accepts consignments that are in excelent shape and only a few years old and her frequent sales provide plenty of opportunities to expand your wardrobe for just pennies on the dollar
Rusmur flooring is a family owned business that has been in business in the North Hills for at least 25 years. they carry a wide selection of all types of flooring as well as decorative tiles for kitchens. Their prices are competitive with Home Depot and Lowes and their selection and quality is far superior. Highly recommend.
I took my Lincoln to them and was extremely unhappy with both their service and attitude. They told me that I needed a new transmission, and a new air ride, but wouldnt contact Ford when I complained that the car only had 30000 miles on it and gave me a quote of over 2000. When I took it to another dealer, they called Ford who paid for theparts.
We have purchased three cars from Sheldon Stone over the past 10 years and have been extremely pleased with each purchase. the prices were always better than the competition, he promptly resolved any problems we had and the warranties we were sold were always easily honored by any dealer -- Great place to buy a car!!
We took our Expedition there for service because the Check Engine light came on and were not at all impressed -- they tried to tell us that we needed a new transmission and gasket repairs to the engine and quoted us 3000 for it. Another dealer looked at the car and said that everything was fine, that there was just an electrical short and we drove the car for another 40000 miles with no problems.
I brought my Ford Explorer there for service last year and they were without a doubt THE worst group I have ever seen. They didn't manage to fix the brake problem even though they kept the car for three weeks and I had to use a rental for vacation and then I caught them double billing my Company for the repairs that they allegedly did. Just AWFUL --do NOT go there
Micks is a large Chrysler agency that sells the full line of regular autos and has a reasonably large inventory of both used and new cars. What I feel sets them apart from the competition os their servce department. I ve had several cars serviced there and they were always done on time and at the quoted price. They even honored my after-market warranty with no problems at all.
JOnes et. al has been in business for at least three decades and they continue to thrive even with the advent o fthe big chains like Lenscrafters and Pearle Vision. As is to be expected they are a but pricier than the chains but they make up for the price differential by providing excellent more personlized service. They also have an excellent selection of high quality frames.
I recently had some work done by this group and found them to be fair with respect to price, competent and honest. The work was done on time, the price that I had been quoted was the price that thye charged and they even offered to drive me home when I first dropped off the car. ALso they are VERY conveniently located - right on route 19.
