AMC Gulfpointe 30
This place is so easy to get to. At the beltway and 45. It is always clean. No sticky floors like some of the other theatres around. Even the restrooms were very clean. They have so many movies playing at once that you are sure to find one that suits you. If you catch a early movie you can even save a few bucks.
Thomas Kinkade-Tlc Gallery
Everything in this place is very expensive, but well worth the price paid. They have beautiful works of art, items for you to complete your materpiece, and they offer a brunch that can't be beat. I hear that they also have classes available so you can perfect your technique. The ladies that workin the shop are very sweet and will help you pick out the perfect item.
Dayspring Harvest Church
This church used to be located on Red Bluff. (This was many years ago). The last time I attended thier services I was a teen-ager. I recall enjoying the classes and the people were friendly enough. The pastor even gave me his home phone number. They had a pretty good youth group. But, I can remember that they tryed to pressure me into speaking in tounges. In my opinion that is a gift and can not be done on demand.
Lakewood Church
I haven't been to this church in person since they have moved to the compac center, but when I attended the services on Wayside I was always moved. Joel Osteen is in my opinion one of the best pastors of his time. He has many of his fathers characteristics. This is a great church! If you can't make the services you can always watch on t.v. also. The church members are loving and make you feel at home, like you have been going there for years.
Supercuts
My mom donated her hair to the Locks for Love Foundation. They did her haircut for free, and even gave her the envelope to mail it in. Even when you go in and pay for a haircut though, it's a good price for a good job. The people are nice and they have an assortment of books to look through if your not sure of the haircut that you want.
Fred Loya Insurance
I had insurance with this company a couple of years ago. They are very cheap, and good for the frugal shopper. They appeared to be on the ball and answered any questions about the policy I had purchased thru them. When I was involved in a accident they told me specific questions to ask the other insurance company. (I had liablility only, and it wasn't my fault). They were very helpful.
Washington Mutual
I have used this bank for a few years, mainly the one on Fairmont. The only thing that is missing is a drive thru. When my identity was stolen along with my checks they finally put the money back in my acount. It was a long process but there was a lot of required paperwork. Another perk is that they offer free coffee all day that seems like it always fresh.
John Phelps Insurance Inc
My children were recently involved in a auto accident along with my mother. They were all minorly injured and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get them to verify that the driver that was at fault has insurance. They are not helpful at all and ddifficullt to get a hold of. It takes for ever to have a call returned.
Woodforest Bank
My mother has done all her banking with Woodforest for as long as I can remember. Their tellers have always been very nice, offering little ones a baloon or some candy. The thing I like the most about them is that they have branches inside Wal-Mart stores which makes it convienient to do 2 things at once.
Upscale Resale
I wasn't impressed with this resale shop. The prices were outragous considering that they are used. I can't give a comment about how they are about acepting clothes because I didn't try to sell any. The clothes are nice though. The shop keeper was a bit stuck up if you ask me.
