Maggie Moos Ice Cream & Treatery

Lots of places carry ice cream, so in order to stand out, an ice cream place must go above and beyond. Maggie Moo's does just that! They carry flavors that you will not find elsewhere, and are willing to let you try however many you wish until you find the one that is perfect for you.

The employees are patient and outgoing. I have never been there and had unfriendly service. The prices are a little higher than a chain like Dairy Queen, but the ice cream tastes richer and is much creamier. We do not live as close to Maggie Moos as we once did, but we still venture in for a treat every once in a while!

Fudgery

I am not a fudge person, but my husband is. He insists that we stop into this store during every trip to the Wrentham Village Outlets. The store smells delicious and he will often spent 10-15 mintes deciding what he wants to snack on because he is so overwhelmed by the variety of fudge.

As with any specialty store, the prices are not cheap, but I would gladly pay any amount of money for an item that satisfies my husband long enough for me to shop without him rushing me to hurry up! The assorted items from The Fudgery do just that!

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Fctry

This store is dangerous and addicting! They carry some of the most delicious decorated candy and caramel apples that you will find anywhere!! They have tons of varieties including butterfinger, m and m's, oreo's, peanuts, graham cracker, rocky road and many more.

They also carry chocolate covered friuts such as bananas and cherries. I think they also have other candy, but to be honest, I never make it that far! I am hooked on the apples and I start dreaming of getting one the second I pull into the Wrentham Village Outlets!

It is also very convenient that the staff offer to cut up the apple into managable slices, that way you can eat the treat as you shop.

VIP Tailor

Often when a heal breaks on your shoe, you throw it away and buy a new pair. That is something that I have always done without thinking twice. However, when it happened to a very expensive pair of high heels that I had, I looking into getting them fixed, rather than throw them away.

I am glad I did! VIP Tailor was able to re-heel my shoe and it cost about 1/4 as much as it would have cost to replace them. The shoe was repaired quickly and the staff was helpful. I will surely keep them in mind for all of my repair needs in the future!

Wacky Wear

This small cart in the middle of Burlington Mall carries a large variety of shirts that make you laugh! They carry ones you may have seen before, but also some very unique ones. I have purchased a couple of shirts from here including one for an engaged friend of mine that sadi "But me a shot, I am tying the knot" for her to wear the night of her bachelorette party.

There are 2 employees who have been there when I have been shopping and both were very friendly and helpful as I was making my decisions. I also got a discount because I bought 2 t-shirts!

The Irish Cottage

It is not surprising that you would find an Irish specialty shop in a Boston suburb! The store carries lots of different products, all of which represent pride in the Irish culture. You may find a quilt that has an Irish poem embroidered on it, or a plaque with an Irish Blessing for the home.

At first look, the prices may seem expensive, but for the unique gift for that Irish person in your life, it would be difficult to find items like these anywhere else without shopping online. Personally, I prefer to see the item I am buying first.

Hennessy News

This circular kiosk in the middle of the South Shore Plaza has everything that you would find in a convenience store. They carry newspapers, candy, gum, snacks, sodas, cigarettes and also sell lottery tickets.

The owner, Mike, works often and usually has a genuine smile on his face to greet all of his customers. He remembers repeat customers and is always willing to make small talk. Even his employees go out of their way to be friendly.

His prices are very reasonable and probably below the costs of other convenience stores.

The Dazz

If you are looking for costume jewelry, The Dazz has a lot of different styles to choose from. They carry items ranging from bridal accessories to body jewelry, but the quality is not as good as you can get at other stores in the mall.

My friend purchased her bridal headband from The Dazz and I was shocked to hear how expensive it was! I felt that she did not get her money's worth.

I bought a belly ring from the store, which was not priced above average, but it fell apart a few days later.

All in all, if you are looking for costume jewelry that you don't expect to last long, The Dazz may have something for you.

Sports Treasures

This long time store in the Emerald Square Mall carries lot of sports collectibles, including signed jerseys and pictures. It is an easy place to shop for the die-hard sports fan in your family. They also can special order items which they do not stock, so the sky is the limit.

From time to time, they also have autograph signings by the athletes themselves! Plan to get there early and wait in line for popular players, but it is worth it for that one-of-a-kind gift that is sure to be appreciated. The costs are about average for sports collectibles.

Pawpoochies

A lot of people treat their dogs like children, so a store like this was bound to come around! They carry all kinds of fancy dog items, such as princess-like beds, dog-friendly strollers, jeweled collars, and designer clothing.

The prices seem a bit high to me, but I do not have a dog that I put on a pedestal! I have a friend who treasures her pomeranian and would buy everything in her dog's size if money was not an issue. My friend does splurge from time to time in this store, but it is almost as much fun just to walk around and see the different products available to truely pampered dogs!
