After having a Konditor Meister cake at a friends wedding, I was hooked!! The cake was Strawberry Grand Marnier and it was delicious: not too sweet, and not too heavy. When a friend of mine had a baby shower, I insisted on providing the cake so I could choose Konditor Meister. Everyone raved about how awesome it was!
For my own wedding, we choose Bailey's Irish creme as well as Strawberry Grand Marnier layers of cake. The cakes are not only delicious, they are beautifully decorated. The prices are reasonable, for the quality you are getting. The store also carries various baked goods, which I have tried, but I am sure they are equally well prepared.
At my wedding last summer we hired Mike from DJ Music Express on the recommendation of our venue. There are only a few companies that our venue would have let us use due to the fact that they have special restrictions on how the DJ's can set up, and what type of materials they are allowed to use.
I worked closely with Mike to create of list of songs that we wanted to play and when. He had some great suggestions when I became stumped as well! He was easy to work with through the whole process including the big day. He was able to engage our guests and get them dancing, which added to the great felling for our day.
I had my wedding last summer. The venue where I was getting married insisted that we use a caterer from an exclusive list of approved companies. They do this to be sure that only the most reputable companies are associated with their wedding site. One of those companies was Vinwood Caterers. After meeting with them, it became clear to me that they would work out great for us!
The food options were extensive, even at the inexpensive levels. They were even open to suggestions and we ended up having them prepare something that wasn't a normal menu item! I received tons of compliments on the food on the day of the wedding! I would highly recommend them!
I first found out about Hammond Castle Museum through a friend who attended a wedding there. He spoke very highly about how beautiful it was. Fast forward to 5 years later and I was looking for a place to get married. I took a tour of the castle with Sue and was instantly in love with the atmosphere! Situated right on the cliffs overlooking Gloucester Harbor, Hammond Castle has picture perfect backdrops in every direction.
We held our ceremony and reception on the grounds of the castle. Our guests were blown away! They enjoyed wandering through the various artifacts of the museum and learning the history of the owner. Sue was there all day to be sure things ran smoothly, which they did. The cost was more than we would have paid at a different venue, but the atmosphere could not have been matched anywhere!
I am now 38 weeks pregnant with my first child. Earlier in my pregnancy I read about keepsake ultrasounds that are 3D (rather than 2D like the doctor's office normally uses). These 3D ultrasounds allow you to actually see what the baby looks like!
After finding her website, I contacted Christine and set up an appointment for my 28th week of pregnancy. I was pleased with how friendly and professional she was. My baby was not cooperating easily, but Christine was persistant and patient. Eventually she were able to get some great pictures of our baby's face!
I am sure we will treasure the pictures forever, and Christine made the experience very pleasurable! The cost was $200, which I found to be competative with other companies. I have recommended her services to 3 friends already!
I used to live around the corner from this butcher. After driving by it, I decided to pick up some steak tips, just to try. They were the best tasting, most tender tip I have ever had! Over time, I got adventurous and tried different products from Boston Beef. The marinated chicken is awesome! The chinese sausage is so sweet! The garlic and provolone sausage are tasty! I have not had a single item that I was not 100% satisified with!
I even got a large roast for them for a large party. It was the talk of the party! Everyone was fighting over their favorite parts (end piece, rare piece)!
As if the meat was not enough of a reason to go, the family that runs the place is very pleasant to do business with. They remember me when I come in, which adds to the favorable experience!
I now live 30 minutes away, but I still drive there for my meats!
I was recommended to The Orthopedic Group by my primary care doctor. After being evaluated by Dr. Gastel, I was referred to physical therapy with Valerie. I saw her twice a week for 6 weeks. I have a shoulder injury that I have been suffering with for over 3 years and Valerie used a variety of techniques to loosen up my shoulder blade so we could strengthen the muscles in the area.
Unfortunately, after 6 weeks of physucal therapy, I am not completely healed. I know that this is due to the extend of damage, and not due to any short-coming on the part of Valerie. I am due to be re-evaluated for different therapy options and am hopeful that I will get over this injury with the help of Dr. Gastel and Valerie.
We have a siamese cat who likes to use our whole house as a litter box. We have tried using home steam carpet cleaning machines, but never really got rid of the smell, which keeps the cat going in the same places.
We broke down and called in the professionals! They cleaned the carpets much better than we could and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. We had 5 rooms cleaned for about $150. The employees were quick and courteous and we will surely use them again.
I found the beatuiful work of Wen Hsu through a recommendation of a friend who was pleased with her work. Wen created a gorgeous headpiece for me that I wore to my wedding. It was a replica of the one worn by the princess in A Never Ending Story and she made it exactly as I pictured it!
The cost was about $80 which I thought was appropriate for the amount of work put into making such a piece. Wen was easy to deal with and very professional!
I found A Fine Image while I was browsing a wedding expo in Worcester, Massachusetts. Their excellent work made them stand out from all of the other photographers there.
I hired them for my wedding and could not have been happier with the results! They took a huge amount of pictures in a variety of settings and I feel they captured the essence of our day!
The prices were a lot more than any other photographer, but you get what you pay for! The wedding album they put together for us is far more impressive than anything I have ever seen.
