This is the place if you are planning a big event such as a wedding or big outdoor party. They offer lots of things to use for the party, such as punch fountains, pillars, huge tents, food warmers like the catered style, dishes, linens--anything you could want or need. Service is very professional, courteous, and on time. They come deliver and pick up. Definitely recommendable.
This store has everything Oregon! Picture books, foods, textiles. They carry Pendleton blankets, jams, jellies, cheeses, myrtle wood items (Myrtle wood is only found in OR and Israel), calnders, pictures, postcards. They also carry the famous Margaret Furlong angels made out of shell shapes--they have a large amount of her collection to choose from. Great for gifts for anyone, at any time.
Valley Ice Arena is great for the whole family. They offer hockey, group lessons, open skating, and open skating during the week that is VERY empty. I have had the whole rink to myself before with my friends during the week. They have skate rentals and a snack bar. I really enjoyed the group lessons in ice skating I took there as a kid, and they offer several levels for those.
This is a great neighborhood grocery in the Portland Heights area. It has a wonderful meat department, and carries several higher-end things. It was founded in 1902 and is right in the middle of the neighborhood. Many residents can walk. It is not small, though, and offers a good variety of things. Let me recommend again the meat department, which is very high-quality.
If you are a pianist, then you must stop at Daynes music. With hundreds of sheet music titles, you're sure to find what you want. And then the piano display is incredible. Come to play a grand, or another grand, or another! They also sell piano lamps. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is very calming, and the store is just a great one to have.
If the name sounds delicious, then it's right on. Think of it as a deli for your skin. Many offerings, all natural, featuring the salts and minerals found in the Great Salt Lake. It smells delicious when you walk it. Many products are bought from bulk bins just like the grocery store. Some are even cooled on ice! A must-see for anyone passing through Park City.
This scrub store offers great variety. Plain scrubs, printes scrubs in lots of different prints, and a huge selection. They also have a lot of different price ranges. You can get the standard green or blue hospital scrubs as well. They also sell shoes, support socks, and other gadgets, such as pins, id holders, stethescope name markers, etc. They have dressing rooms to try on.
These scrubs are very durable and heavy duty. YOu pay more for them, but they will last you. They have several colors, styles, and prints to choose from. The nice thing is that you can try them on there, versus ordering and then having to return them when they don't fit. The people are nice. The store is very small, and usually quiet, so it's easy to get in and out.
This is a wonderful resource for the area. Bob's Red Mill brand sells all over the country, but you can get it here in large quantities for much cheaper. They sell all kinds of grains without chemicals and additives. You can also get grinders and those kinds of appliances. The people are friendly, and the store is a fun atmosphere. Worth the drive out into the country.
This game store is very stocked. They have many games that the normal game store (Toys R Us or Target) wouldn't have. They offer ok prices, friendly customer service, and lots of stock. I went there to find Settlers of Catan, before it was widely available, and they had every version that went with the game. You can call on the phone first to see if they have what you're looking for.
