Laura's Clean Service
I used this cleaning service when I had company coming from out of town. With all the preparations for cooking and where to take them sightseeing, I was just to tired to clean the whole house thoroughly. What a blessing to have someone come in and take care of that for you. They did a wonderful job and kept their appointment on time. They wasted no time in getting right down to it and the house looked great when they were done. I don't use a cleaning service every week, but this sure came in handy when I needed it.
Starworth Cynthia - A Q Denture Svc
My husband had a set of dentures made at this business, and they did a very good job. He went in several times for fittings before they made them to make sure they fit properly and looked good to him. After the dentures were made they give you up to three visits for adjustments. My husband did two adjustments. They keep their appointments when scheduled and make sure your happy with your dentures. I would recomment them to anyone, they are also less expensive than other dental labs.
A-Sam's Appliance Repair
We had a problem with our dishwasher not allowng the water to fill at the beginning of the wash. We called this repair service hoping to get someone out as soon as possible as the dishwasher had dirty dishes sitting it. They came out the next morning and did a great job finding the problem and fixing it right away. It was so nice not to have a hassle like you get sometimes with other reapair people, and it was also nice to have a dishwasher back again. You never know how much you take these appliances for granted til they don't work.
Davis Nursery
I go to this nursery every year when it is time to plant flowers in the spring. I love to look at all the plants they have, they take such good care of them. You never need to worry that you will get plants home and they will die from lack of proper
handling at the nursery. The staff are all knowledgible and helpful and can't do enough to help you find what you are looking for. I would recomment this nursery to anyone without fear they would not be happy with their purchases.
Gingerbread Cottage Boutique
This is a great boutique to pick up some extra accesories to go with an outfit you wear. I was fascinated by the name and thought how cute. They carry a wide variety of necklaces and bracelets, pins, cute earrings. All kinds of things you'll love.
I spent a whole afternoon in here the first time I went and couldn't wait to go back again. I found some unique neclaces and have gotten may comments on how preety they are. I always feel good telling people where I bought the items so they can go and shop themselves.
Summerlin Jewelers
My friend took me to this store with her a few months ago. I do not normally go to Summerlin as it is a farther drive than I normally like to do. But seeing the great jewelry they have I guess I'll need to start driving there myself. The pieces are beautiful, and something is always different than other jewelry store I frequent. I usually find at least one item I want when I go. Last time I found the most beautiful tennis bracelet. I had never owned one, but had to have this one when I first saw it. Their prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for.
Yong's Watch & Clock Repair
I was given a grandfather clock for on my mantel by an aunt that wanted to pass it down in the family. Unfortunately, she did not care for the clock very well and it did not keep good time when I got it. It was also very old and dirty and needed a cleaning badly. I took it to this shop and asked what could be done with it to bring it up to snuff and how much would it cost. He made this clock look wonderful, it still keeps time accurately and the price he charged was very reasonable. I'm sure there is a lot of work involved to do this job, so I'm happy with his work.
Sharon's Wear
I love to go to this shop at haloween to look for a very unique outfit to wear to parties. They have some of the most wonderful clothing I have ever seen. It feels so good to dress up in a 20's or 50's outfit for the evening. We don't get to wear clothing like this every day, so it's really neat when we can. I see so many people in there getting that "special" outfit that will make them stand out at whatever party they are going to attend. It's nice to have a store like this that we can go to for those special occasions.
Sharon Rogow Bead Lover
This is a great store to buy your art supplies. I am into doing beading and they have a great selection of those. I am thinking of trying my hand at painting, and will look here for the supplies needed for that. The prices are reasonable and the store personnel are great at helping you out with any questions you may have. I always get some advice when I go here as there is always some new project in beading I want to do. The possiblities are endless in this hobby and this store helps me out a lot.
Legal Aide Divorce Svc Inc
Some of the consignment shops I go to are very high end, but I also like to go to just normal type shops that do not carry ultra expensive clothing. This shop carries very nice merchandise that is reasonably priced. I find some really neat purses here and scarves etc that are hardly worn. I do not like to spend a fortune on an item of clothing or an acessory if I can avoid it, and this shop helps me do that. I have found brand new shirts in here for my husband that someone must have not wanted. It's amazing what people discard without wearing it.
