I've eaten here several times over the past couple of years. At first it was good, but the last couple of times it has gone downhill fast and I will no longer eat there. The eggs were over cooked, tbe turkey sausage was inedible, tasted like a bad hot dog. Most important, the place is not clean. The silverware is dirty, the salt and pepper shakers have a patina of grime on them. Too bad.
I lived across the street for a couple of years and love this place. Let's be clear, this is Fort Greene, and the service is going to be a bit laid back, but always friendly and welcoming. They offer some really good dishes - comfort food with a carribbean zing - and sides to die for, and the prices are reasonable. You'll love the collards, mac n cheese, curried potatoes and spicy fries and the apple salad. Main courses include a wrap for vegetarians ...I'm outta space
I've eaten breakfast here many times. It is one of the few good old fashioned diners left in the area. My food is always good, just how I like it, the service is excellent, true the decor is old but that adds to the charm and it is clean. There are a couple of bad reviews on here, but for I don't agree. And if you drive by you can see that the parking lot is always just about full which is always a good sign.
Cozy family owned and operated Thai restaurant with great food, friendly service and a backyard garden in the summer. The currys are delicious, and they've got 3 different ribs - can't decide which is my favorite. The family sometimes does tours of Thailand, ask at the restaurant.
This is a Thai restaurant your Thai friends will like. The Thai grilled chicken is out of this world, everything else I've tried is also great. Not fancy, but real friendly and reasonably priced.
