European Classic Bakery
This is a small bakery in Chicago. Their selection of baked goods is limited, with most of their emphasis on cakes and tarts. But I do have to tell you, the things they do have are real delicious and totally worth the stop at this place. They are not only beautifully decorated, but taste great too. Plus, the service here is really nice. The people that work behind the counter are super friendly and they will always help you pick out the perfect sweet dessert.
Major Landscaping & Snow Plowing
My parents use this company and they are very happy it. In the summer, these people do their lawn maintenance. They come once a week and mow the lawn, trim it, and clean it up. They are very hassle free and do not require to be contacted. They just line up your appointments at the begining of the summernd then you are all set to go. You do not even need to be home when they do their services. The great thing is that they are so reasonably priced. They even do snow removal during the winter, which is always a great service to have!
Day & Night Dry Cleaners
While this place is more expensive than the Cleaners Depot down the road, I choose it because it is walking distance from my house. Plus, they have express service. So, if I'm ever in a hurry, all I have to do is run down and give my stuff in. Within an hour, my stuff is ready for me to pick up. I love the convenience of this place and am willing to pay extra for it. They also do tailoring, which I have not have had done with yet.
Supreme Hand Car Wash 2 Incorporated
This is one of my favorite stops to get a car wash. They only charge three dollars for a wash on weekdays and they do a wonderful job. They do a detailed exterior wash, that really gets the dirt and grime off of every inch of the car. The car wash is not too expensive on the weekends either; it just costs a quarter more.
Niles Village Fitness Ctr
If you are a resident of the city of Niles, then this community center is wonderful for you and your family! Not only does it have a fully equiped fitness center, but it includes a swimming pool and an indoor track. If you are a Niles resident, then this place is a steal for you because they charge minimal fees to residents. Plus, they have lots of classes and activities in this building too. And you even get free parking!
Nail Bar
This is one of my favorite spots in the city to get my nails done. For one, they have great hours and they are open later than most nail places in the area. Also, their facility is really well kept and clean. And most importantly, the entire staff their is really friendly and does a great job with your manicure or pedicure. It is all pretty reasonably priced as well. The only thing that really sucks about this place is that it is located in an area where parking can be virtually impossible to find at times. Use public transportation if you can!
Rolf's Patisserie Inc
This is a new bakery that just opened up in Lincolnwood. It is a great place. They bake everything on the premisis so you know its nice and fresh. They have a little seating area too where you can purchase and enjoy your sweets. Their assorments of sweets is great and everything not only looks good, but tastes good. One pluse point - you get a free cup of coffee with every purchase! Only thing is that make sure you get in before the afternoon, because by the afternoon they are usually running pretty low on stuff!
Oak Mill Bakery
I have always heard people raving about this bakery, so a couple of weeks ago I decided to go check it out. I was very disappointed. The cakes and pastries all looked great. They were all tempting. But the cake I bought was dry and very bland tasting. I also got some mini pastries that looked A LOT better than it tasted. Nothing really had that fresh baked taste to it. This bakery is also not cheap, so go spend your money elsewhere for better tasting stuff!
Cleaners Depot
Cleaner's depot is a great place to go to get all your dry cleaning done. They are great and have really clean and well-maintianed facilities. Best thing about them is that they only chage $1.99 for any garment! So get your shirts, pants, coats, or anything else dry cleaned here for one set price. They are very good and always do a great job. They will even do same day service for the same price if you drop your stuff off early enough!
Niles Township High School
I graduated from Niles North High School and my experience there was pretty good. The high school is pretty competitive. They have a very intelligent student body, so be prepared to work hard for your class rank. The profesors here are wonderful too. They really create a rigorous environment and make sure they give their all to teaching. This is defintely a school where you will get a good education that will truely prepare you for your future!
