What a horrible experience. For 3 years, they "tried" to fix our roof, that they had done incorrectly to start with. Come to find out, they were just doing little cheap "spot" repairs instead of what really needed to be done, which was replace a section. Three other roofing companies agreed and had people out within 24 hours. These guys took a month every time we called them. Not to mention the absolutely horrible customer service we received. Completely unprofessional.
I attended a wedding hosted here and it was absolutely stunning. They provided a magnificent backdrop and plenty of space to host everything. The rooms inside were very clean, yet cozy and homey. They offered a lovely porch for sitting and a beautiful country like setting in the middle of the city. Their prices were reasonable and I would definitely go there again, even without the wedding.
This little bed and breakfast located off of the Independence Square is a very historic and nostalgic stay if you're looking for a weekend away. They offer comfortable rooms and a wonderful hearty breakfast. The service is great and the value is exceptional. They are quite reasonably priced for what they offer. I do hope you'll stay a night and see for yourself what I'm raving about.
This drive inn has seen better days. It is rather old and worn down, but its nostalgic value has been preserved. It still makes a great night out for families looking for a great value in entertainment. There is a little playground for the kids and a snack bar if you must have the overpriced popcorn. The movies are first run and you can't beat it for a step back in time date. I would go again, but only once in a while.
We have stayed here a couple of times, just for a weekdend away. The service is great, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is good, not great, and somewhat pricey, but other than that, everything was perfect. There is a small pool for swimming and a wonderful sitting area in the lobby with a fireplace as the centerpiece instead of a TV. We will definitely return again to this hotel for its great value and great service.
I attended and worked for this school district and am overall very pleased with it. The district seems to have a good variety of programs to meet all students' needs. They are a medium sized district in a bit older part of Kansas City, but they maintain their high education standards. Many of the schools are more than 30 years old, but there are a couple of newer ones. Nearly all have integrated technology in seemlessly to the existing buildings.
This mall has made an incredible turn around in the last decade. They have completely redone the interior, added amazing new upscale shops, and improved parking and security. The area around it offers more choices than you could possibly need, should you not find what you want at the mall. Some of the main shops include, Sears, Jones, Dillards, Bath and Body Works, Helzbergs, Old Navy, Lerner's, Build a Bear, and Applebees.
Travel Advisors, located in Lee's Summit off of Lakewood, planned an amazing honeymoon for us. The woman we worked with was infinitely patient with us, and explained all the ins and outs of a place we had never been before. She helped us plan out every detail to ensure a "magical" time. (Disneyworld could never be anything else, I suppose) She found us a good price and offered us great follow up service. She answered all of our questions and made us really feel valued. Try them, they do a great job!
We used the Ross side of Sanders and Ross Photography back before they were together. He did a very nice job on all of our photography and our videography. He was very patient listening to our requests. The only complaint we had with him was that it took sooooo long after the wedding for just the together pictures (we had our seperate ones down before hand). We missed half of our reception! As far as quality and price though, absolutely no complaints, he did a great job for us.
These people are amazing. They did it all for my big day! We met with them several times before hand and they came up with my ideal wedding fantasy, complete with fountain! They really listened and had amazing creative ideas. They took care of the food, the flowers, the decorations, the cake, the reception, the punch, everything!!! And all of the pieces came together seemlessly on the big day. They worked the reception, cutting cake, and keeping the food coming. Since they know weddings so well, they even packed us several very large "doggie bags" for our wedding night, since we didn't get much of the food or cake. So many people complemented our wedding saying it was the nicest they had been to in a long time!
