Pat's Pizzeria

We just moved into this area and were looking for a place that was local to order subs and other delivery items. The first time we ordered from there it was fantastic. The food came quickly, was hot, and the order was perfect. The second time my whole family was actually home and it was a very large order. They messed up my sandwich and my husband's. When I called to complain they said they would have to send someone back out to actually see the 'incorrect' items. To me that's just ridiculous. Like I would take the time to complain about something that wasn't true. We ordered from them last night just two sandwiches and an order of old bay fries. They actually got the order right this time. I will be leary of ordering from them since their customer service just isn't up to par.

Plaza Garibaldi Inc

No matter when I go it's busy, but I'm always seated within ten minutes. The food is plentiful and not frozen prior. It's real food. The selection is huge! The free chips and salsa are to die for. We always end up asking for more and then buy some chips to take home! The place is very clean and family friendly. They do not have much seating for large groups so the wait may be longer for them. I highly recommend this for any true Mexican food lover who wants reasonable prices for high quality food!

Robbins Roxanne

My son had an infection because of a bad tooth. We took him because it was too late for the dentist. The wait was about half an hour. But the doctor was very pleasant. He spoke directly to my son and asked him questions. He laughed and joked with him making him comfortable since he was nervous. I got the antibiotic and pain medication right on the spot. It was great to have it so convienent. I would send everyone here because it saved my son a night of pain!

Fallston Recreation Complex

There's green everywhere. It's such a refreshing site. There are ample fields for every sport imaginable. There are some playgrounds for my children to enjoy. There are pavilions although I've never stopped to eat there. We usually just stop on our way to or from another place to give our kids a break. There is ample parking and plenty of space for everyone.

Alice Anne Park

This is a small community park. This isn't one you want to drive out of your way for like some of the big other ones. There is only street parking. There is some small playground equipment for the kids and a picniking area. There's a small paved area for different activities. My kids use it to ride their bikes if we are in the area and need a break before returning home.

Churchville Recreation Complex

This is one of those parks that's great for visiting if you have a large group and want to play an organized sport. There is no scenic view. There is some play ground equipment but it's not much. They have pavilions with open grills if you want to bring your dinner and cook it while you are there. We have never visited the building although we do know they have several indoor courts for various activities.

Lyn Stacie Getz Creative Playground

Simply put this is the best playground in Harford county. I remember when they first built it and how excited I was to go give it a try. Most of this playground is wood. It has things you've never seen at another playground. It has some swings but not enough for the amount of people that are usually there. There is a sandbox and tubes and tunnels. My kids love to go here and play.

Aberdeen Festival Park

This park is in the heart of Aberdeen. There is a small playground with mulch. My kids don't like it because they can never go barefoot there. There are many activities held here during the year. I've gone to several of the craft shows here was disappointed by the turn out of buyers. There is an area to picnic and a pavilion. The nice thing about this park is it has a set stage for small concerts.

Flying point Park

This park is great on a spring or fall day. There is a place for boat launching. There is a playground and volleyball court. It's one of my favorite places to go with my family just for a nice evening at the park. There are horseshoe pits for my husband and sons to play. And even a tennis court although we've never used it. There is a fishing pier with plenty of room for my family and lots of others. Only downside is it's closed from November thru March. And special hours other times of the year.

CONS: Closed November thru March.

Edgewater Village Parks

This park isn't very scenic. There are a few trees but nothing special to see. There is a small park for the children to play. There are soccer and lacrosse fields. There are several baseball diamonds and basketball courts. There is a community center with a parks and recreation office and other facilities. It's okay to go if there's no other place to go, but there are other much prettier parks in the area.
