They have a lot of nice stuff. If you like comics or figurines you need to check this place out. They are priced the same as most comic shops, but I think they have more to offer. And the staff is pretty knowledgeable about what they sell. Give them a visit, you'll stay longer then you planned.

Charles Deering Estate at Cutler

Deering Estate is a very nice place to take the kids. The view from the shoreline is amazing and the trails they have are very interesting. They have guided tours and a ranger station type building for you to look at the many displays they have set up. It's not that much to get in and for me at least I get hours of enjoyment out of it. It's a very peaceful place.

Fairchild Tropical Garden

I love Fairchild, they have so many unique plants and their property is just huge. The whole place is well taken care of and usually you can see some iguanas, different types of birds, turtles, or other little animals. They have a really nice gift shop and a guided tram that goes around the area. They have a rare type of tree, I think it's from Africa, thats about 10 feet wide. Fairchild is just a really cool place to take the family.

Cauley Square Shops

The shops all have a distinctive atmosphere around them thats just to cool. There are a lot of different art and antique shops and I often want to spend hours there.
Some of the shops are expensive, but thats to be expected fore the kind of merchandise they are selling.
I particularly like there painting shops because the work they have is so unique.
There are some really nice shops at Cauley Square.

Miami Dade Community College

Miami Dade Community College is a good collage for two year degrees. They have a many possible career choices to go into and experienced people to help you decide which career is for you. The staff is top notch. A good site to check professor ratings is http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/
MDC is a very good place to be.

Miami Gold Coins

Miami Gold Coins has some nice coins. They buy and sell and most importantly have fair prices for both what they sell and what they will buy. If youre a coin enthusiast then give their store a look, you'll end up buying something. But my advice is if your planning on selling something know it's value before going in, just so you have an idea of what to expect.

Miami Trains

They have some really nice model trains and know a lot about them. I like just looking around and seeing what they are selling. If youre into model trains or think you might be interested in them then give this store a look, you will probably have a good time. I know I do.

Hobby Nut Inc

The man that is usually there knows his stuff. They can seem expensive sometimes, but a lot of hobbies simply are expensive. They have a wide range of items from cheap stuff to R/C planes costing thousands. Drop by their store sometime and you will want to spend hours looking around. They are a very good store.

Sushi Maki

I totally love their food. My favorite is the vegetable tempura. They also have fried ice cream, which is ice cream dipped in a batter and fried while still remaining frozen and they cover it with chocolate syrup. If you haven't been to Sushi Maki and want to try something new then try then out, you'll love it.

He does excellent work and gets your carburetor back to you quickly and in working order. He is a nice guy and really knows what he is doing. He does his repairs professionally and will not overcharge you on the price. I highly recommend Billy's Carburetor Repair Incorporated for all your carburetor needs.
