De Pasquale is a great salon. Very high end. All of the employees are extremely friendly and do a wonderful job. I have gone there a few times...once to buy a gift certificate and another time to have a hair cut. I had a good experience both times. I was extermely happen with my cut and style. I will definiately being returning to this salon for other services. I highly recommend anyone going there, you will love it! The prices are high but its worth it.
Hair Plus Day Spa is a really nice salon. I actually went to Hair Plus before it became the Day Spa. It has always been really nice and also got great service. I have had my hair cut by a few different people, eyebrow wax, facials and pedicures. Everyone that works at the salon is very friendly. They usually offer you some sort of drink when you walk in. They have a tons of hair style books to look through if you aren't sure what you want to do with your hair. Or if you still can't decide the stylist will always help you figure something out. Definitely recommend this salon!!!
This salon is really nice. They have alot of girls that work there so you rarely have to wait even when its busy. I have had manicure and pedicures done at this salon a few times and always left happy. During their anniversary they were offering great prices on manicure/pedicures. But even when they aren't offering the anniversary price the prices are still reasonable. I definitely recommend this salon!
This salon is just ok. I have been to this salon a few times and gotten manicures and eyebrow wax done. The prices are reasonable compared to other salons in the area. I found that some of the girls that work at the salon are not really that friendly. I guess thats why I stopped going there...they rushed through the manicures. I left there alot not happy with the way my nails looked. If you want to give the salon a chance I would say go and see what you think for yourself.
This has to be the best venue to see a concert. I saw Josh Groban at Radio City Music Hall and it was by far the best show I have ever seen. The sound at Radio City was incredible. There really isn't a bad seat in the place. The one negative is that the seats are very tight...your knees hit the seat in front of you. But you forget about that once you hear the sound of the music. We had an incredible time! Can't wait to go back.
I have been to Rainbow Nails a bunch of times. All the women that work at the salon are very nice and always do a nice job. I have gotten manicures, pedicures, eyebrow and lip waxing done from them. Before I got married I decided to put tips on my nails for the wedding and they did them for me. They turned out really nice and got alot of compliments on them. After the wedding I decided to keep up with the tips and continuing going back to Rainbow Nails for the fills in. They have great color selections for the polish. Also you can get a massage there as well. Prices are reasonable for all the services they provide.
We stayed at The Tropicana Hotel during our first trip to Las Vegas. We had a great time. The rooms were always clean and the staff was very friendly. When we arrived at the hotel to check in our room wasn't ready and we actually had to wait a couple of hours to get in our room (later than normal check in). Due to the inconvience they comped us with a choice of a show or dinner. We choice the show and enjoyed it.
We also ate at the buffet twice. The food was good and they had a huge selection to choose from. And I believe the price was reasonable.
Oh and the rates for the hotel are also reasonable...the hotel is on the main strip in Vegas but you are done at the end. It didn't matter to us because we walked everywhere anyway!
I have been to the Showboat a number of times and have always enjoyed myself. I have stayed over in the hotel a couple times and always had nice, clean rooms. The casino its self is nice. Decent size with a good amount of table games and slot machines. The slot machines are all different dollar amounts too...the nickle slots are addicting :)
I believe they have a new restauant there too, the House of Blues. Didn't eat there, but I checked out the menu and it looked good and reasonably priced.
The parking is always reasonable at the Showboat. You'll always have a good time at The Showboat.
I love the Princeton Record Exchange. Its a great little record store in the middle of Princeton. I have bought tons of CDs from them, new and used. You can also sell your old cds that you don't want anymore. The prices for the new cds are on the high side but the used ones you can get a pretty good deal on. The sales people are very help. I went in there and couldn't think of the band that sang a certain song asked one of the sales people and they knew right away! Very helpful!
Salon Di is a very nice salon..very upscale. The prices are on the expensive side but they do a nice job. I got a completely new hairstyle when I went there for the first time. I loved the way it came out. I was so happy with the way it came out that I went back to the same women (can't remember her name) and got highlights done. They turned out nice as well. I haven't gone back to the salon since because the price was just to high for me. I don't want to pay more than $25 for a trim and that isn't possible at this salon. If money isn't an object than I would definitely try this salon out.
