My husband and I just got a puppy. The Allendale Animal Hospital was receommended to us by a friend. I wil second the recommendation here! We were so impressed with the thouroughness of the exam and the general visit. She asked all the pertanent questions about our little guy, such as when eh was born, what vaccinations had he already had, if he had papers, etc. It was also very easy to get an appoinment. We called on Thursday afternoon and had an appointment for Friday morning. I will continue to recommend them.
Every year we go back and every year the place seems to get bigger. They are always adding onto the childrens activities. On the downside, some of them do cost extra money, but they seem to be worth it. There are pumpkin patches galore, apple picking, shopping for baked goods, cider, of course apples, and gift items. I would receommend them to anyone looking for a pumpkin patch experience with their children. Fun for all ages!
When my truck broke down on my way home from Detroit I was at a loss as to who to call. They appeared to be the closest to where I was stranded so I gave them a call. They arrived very quickly. When they asked where I wanted to be taken they mentioned a garage that was closer and therefore the towing would cost less. I was shocked! Wouldn't they want the most money possible out of me? It was a great recommendation and I will always use East Beltine because of it. Their rates were very good as well. A co-worker had recently paid double what I did for a towing service, and travelled less distance.
My husband and I make a trip here every year. I believe they are open year round, but for some reason we have only come during apple season. They have a great gift shop with country style crafts and nick knacks. My favorite is the cider house! You can get fresh cider and baked goods at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Every time I see one of the ice sculptures from here I'm amazed! The quality is excellent. We use them for many of our company functions. Our guests are always impressed. We are only limited by our own imagination as to what these guys will carve into and out of ice... anything from a Swan (their signature) to a bar that you can actually serve from! A little pricey, but if you're looking to make a statement and want something that people will be talking about give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
We sued President Tuxedo for our wedding. The staff was very patient as we changed our mind numerous times about what we wanted. They also worked with our out of town groomsmen. They have a great policy on returning as well. Most tuxedo places require that it be returned the following day. Our wedding was on a Saturday and we had until Thursday to return the tuxes. That made life much easier after the wedding.
My office had a problem with a critter inthe ceiling. Not knowing what to do we called here and they came right out. I was impressed with how quickly they showed up. After investigating they came to the conclusion that it was a raccoon and possible more than one. They determined where the animal got into the building. It did take a few days to catch the Mom and her 4 babies that were living in the ceiling but they were successful. I was also happy that they didn't kill the animals. They caught them live and said they would bring them back to their facility and eventually release them back into the wild. Very humane.
I was very surprised at the selection in this store. I had been referred there for jewelry, but was surprised when I saw not only jewelry, but veils and headpieces too. Prices were very comparable to anywhere else. The variety was amazing. They offered rhinstone jewelry in many colors and styles. I would receommend this store to anyone.
PROS: Selection and pricing
I understand that you pay for convenience, but $50 for an oil change is just nuts in my eyes. On the plus side, once you have an oil change you can stop back in anytime between oil changes to have them air your tires or check and fill any of your fluids. It's great in theory, but if you get your oil changed every three months who really needs to have this checked any more than that. I also felt as though they tried to sell me products that I didn't need. I knew my filter had been changed recently but they recommended another one. They also said that I needed a transmission flush, which had been done within the last year. Another case of a woman "not knowing about cars." At least that is what it felt like. I won't go back.
Last Spring I went to Flowerland for perrenials. Not only were they very picked over but the prices were quite high. I went elsewhere. This Fall I tried again because they had a sale on mums. I wanted a bunch of them, and again, I was disappointed in the quality. It was early in the season, but they seemed to be picked over already. Not sure that I will be back again.
