I like Dr. Cerva and her style of practice. She is very warm, caring and tries to help with your aliment. What I don't like is her staff. They're rude to you in person and on the phone. I was waiting along with another gentleman and his sick wife In comes the pharmaceutical rep with free gifts for everyone. Well, you would have thought the president walked in the way they treated that person bearing goodies. The man inquired how much longer is was going to be before his turn with the doctor, they basically dismissed him and went back to making sure everyone in the office got their freebie which appeared to be a cheap clock. I was going to say something to the doctor but I was too tired and too sick to get myself any more irritated than I already was.
Dr. Kramer has been my gyno for 5 years now. I switched to him after I was dismissed by my doctor at that time when I had some worries while in the first few weeks of my pregnancy. Joel is very warm, caring and will always answer the phone if you have a question or concern. You don't have to leave a message or go through a nurse or assistant like other offices. You actually speak to him LIVE!! There are 2 other doctors that practice with him. Both are very nice and have a great bedside manner as Joel.
This is a very nice mini golf course. It's not too hard which was a plus for my four year old. They also host birthday parties which is good if you're looking for something different. The prices are a little expensive for play at around $8.00 as well as the birthday parties. The course is very clean and there is a snack bar with pinic tables if you want to grab a bite to eat of drink. It's really nice playing on a warm summer night.
The constituion center is one of a kind and we are lucky to have it right here in Philadelphia. The center is brand new and state of the art. There are new themes every few months so there is always something new when you visit. The Liberty Bell is now located inside the center and is probably the most popular attraction. Parking is a little tricky since there is not much on street available. The center is located right in the heart of historic Philadelphia. You won't be disappointed and it's not just for tourists!
Bobby Chez is known for their crabcakes. The are available in either broiled or deep fried. Either way, you cannot go wrong since it's basically all crab meat which is hard to find. They have a full seafood menu. Their stuffed shrimp are wonderful and the scallops are plump and juicy. The crab cakes are little high, but crab meat is very expensive. You can eat in or take out, but around the holidays, expect your wait to be longer than average.
This resturant has very good food and is known for their chicken and ribs. The hamburgers are big and the side dishes are fabulous. The smashed potatoes are the best and the brocoli is fresh and crispy. Their BBQ sauce is awesome and the ribs just fall off the bone. You can either eat in or take out. Price range from $6.00 to $19.00 for an entree which includes 2 sides.
Hands down, this restaurant has the best ribs and chicken in Philadelphia. The BBQ sauce is so good, my husband and I want them to bottle it up and sell it. The corn bread is fantastic and so are the burgers and fries. The casear salads are also good and can be purchased for two bucks with your meal. Their food is available for eat in or take out but be forwarned, the dining area is small and there is not a non-smoking section available. That would be my only complaint.
My husband has been going to this restaurant since he was a kid and it's still the same good food that he always had. If you go on a weekend night, be prepared to wait and parking is always cumbersome in South Philly. The chicken parm and sausage was very good. The decor on the downstairs is still 70's style. The upstairs is more modern and this is where the bathroom is located therefore, this would not be a handicapped accessible facility.
I have been going to Guidos for over eight years. I had my rehersal dinner there and we've been going on my anniversary every year. The food is delicious and the owners have started expanding the size of the restaurant. It was very small since it was converted from a row home. The pasta, seafood, veal is all wonderful. It's also a byob which is also a cost savings. The prices are a little higher, but it's worth paying a little extra for good food and service.
This is a take out or eat in restaurant. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. I've had everything from pizza to seafood and I have never been disappointed. This is also a BYOB which is always a plus since I like to spend my money on food rather than overpriced alcohol. The staff is very nice and the spinach garlic knots are the best. The pizza is very good and is available in traditional or gourmet.
