I was very impressed with the level of service at the Cheesecake Factory. When we sat down with our 1 year old and 3 year old, the hostess brought each child their own plate of "appetizers" with sliced bananas and bread just for them. It was nice to keep them busy for a little while we decided on their ENORMOUS menu. They have 3 or 4 pages of appetizers just to start. And, of course, you have to save room for one piece of their 30 some kinds of cheesecake. It is rather expensive. We paid $80 for our 2 entrees, 2 cheesecakes, and an appetizer pizza for our 3 year old. They don't have a children's menu, but they will size orders for children.
PROS: Enormous food selection; wonderful service for families with kids
CONS: Really expensive.
I've taken my 2 kids here a couple of times for lunch and to play in the indoor play area. Never again. The dining room is pretty clean, considering how much traffic comes through. But the play area has never been cleaned I don't think. My little girl came out of the tunnels and slides with hair and sticky crud all over her. I was disgusted. We went home a took a bath...that's how bad it is. So, eat here, but play only if you dare.
PROS: Dining room OK cleanliness.
CONS: Play area is DISGUSTING!
We eat here at least once a month. The menu selection is great and they'll customize almost anything on their menu to suit your taste. They have competitive prices and if you ask to join their "Good Neighbor" Club, you'll get a card for 15% your meals Sunday-Thursdays. We LOVE their chocolate chip cookies, buffalo chicken fingers, tortilla soup, and the service is wonderful. Our top recommendation!
PROS: Best food ever! Try the chocolate chip cookies and tortilla soup!
We love going to Applebee's during their 3-7 PM Happy Hour. Drinks are either $1 off or half price, depending on what you order and most appetizers are half price. We usually order 2 or 3 appetizers and a drink and get out of there for under $30 for a family of 4. It is rather busy and there's not a lot of place to wait for a table in the cold weather, but we still love to go.
PROS: Great happy hour prices.
CONS: Not a lot of waiting room for a table in cold weather.
Grapevine is my favorite pizza! They have a Mexican pizza that is so unusual and delicious. Their mozzarella cheese sticks and chicken wings are also fabulous. Their delivery is super fast (usually under 40 minutes). I would say their prices are a bit higher, but I would rather pay a little more for a great tasting pizza!
PROS: Great taste;super fast delivery; unusual pizzas
CONS: A bit pricey
I drive 15 miles to see my dentist, Dr. Burnard, and my hygenist, Kelly. They take great care of me and I love how friendly the office is. It's like visiting a friend when I go twice a year. Their receptionist, Trish, is also so kind. I'll never go to another dentist ever!
PROS: Wonderful staff
I really like this practice of doctors. Someone is always available day or night to return a call about an ill child. My children love Dr. Dhanu Sant Jackson. My only complaint is that we wait almost 45 - 1 hour past our appointment time before the doctor comes in. The rooms are very small with nothing for the children to do while we wait. I also have seen cleaner doctor's offices. Overall, I like our pediatrician and feel that she answers my questions well.
PROS: Nice office staff; great doctors!
CONS: Not the cleanest doctors office; wait time past appt is too long
I have had massages, facials, and regular haircuts at Kenneths and I must say they do a fabulous job of pampering. I feel like I am important to them as a customer and they take special treatment of me when I am there. I do think the prices are way too high, although competitive with other dayspas in the area. Price is the only reason I don't give them 5 stars. Other than that, every once in a while it's nice to be babied!
PROS: Wonderful, personal service.
CONS: High prices.
I love Skyline Chili for their great chili dogs and friendly employees. I think their prices are pretty competitive and the food is high quality. I wish they would use something other than styrofoam containers since these are bad for the environment. I'm also thrilled that they now include fries on their menu.
PROS: Great tasting food; competitive prices; now sell fries
CONS: Use styrofoam containers which is bad environmentally
We recently ate here with our 2 kids and neither one of them ate anything the buffet had to offer. I do like the child prices ($.60 per year old; 3 years old pays $1.80). The restaurant had a sour smell from the rags they use to wipe down the tables. The food is mediocre, but I guess you get what you pay for when you go to a family buffet restaurant.
PROS: Good child prices
CONS: Bad smell; mediocre food.
