Walk in and feel the music from the praise and worship. Feel at home in the casual environment. Learn from the teaching. Laugh with the pastors at the skits or the flubs. This is a church unlike any you have probably been to. We stumbled onto this church because it is planted by Willowcreek outside of Chicago.
What do you do with a toddler who loves books and trains? Take them to Nannas Bookstore where you'll find every children's book you can imagine, plus stumble to the back and enter the world of Thomas, the tank engine that is. All the trains, cars, and characters from the show are stacked and offered for your selection. There is also a track of trains to occupy the youngest of fans. Lots to do and lots to learn. Ask about the repeat shopper card.
This is the best coffee shop in Bowling Green. It has good java and it's open relatively late. The one caveat is that, as a result of being within a college town, it is frequented by college kids. So, if that bugs you, you'd better stay clear. Therwise, its fun to just people watch over a latte or hang out with friends and discuss politics, the weather, the opposite sex, what have you. The atmosphere makes it all better, even the good coffee tastes better.
The doctors and staff at Perrysburg Pediatrics make us feel like we are the only patents that they treat and that's a nice feeling. We've seen doctors before to whom we were just another number. Get em in, get em out, kind of medicine. Not here. They take time to answer questions and it doesn't feel like a rush by any means. We are very happy here.
Dr. Meier was a true blessing for our family. I don't know why but doctors and dentists are part of what makes your home feel safest. Finding Dr. Meier made us feel more at home. Now, I'll admit, he's not a true pediatric dentist, but he's a good "family" dentist. You can all go to him and trust that you are receiving great care.
I had a bad situation occur with my car lately and this is the only place I knew of in town. that is a scary feeling, needing a car repair and not knowing where to turn. I called Speck's and although they informed me that they don't do much more than basic maintenance, they gave me a list of possible resources to look into, eventually leading me to the repair shop I chose. It adds to the trust factor when you feel they give good advice when they don't make mney from it.
I know that the field of social work is less than thrilling and due to the lack of funding, there are bound to be corners cut as it pertains to office decor. The things that makes me cringe at the thought of FSA-Elgin is the staff turnover. There was a time when you could rely on an individual to work with you. These days, you never know whether you can expect the same staff member each visit. That doesn't result in a trusting relationship, which I thought this was all about.
What a blast. Get a group together and have an old fashioned hayride. What a way to celebrate the autumn transition into summer. It's an event, too, what with a 45 minute hayride and 90 minute bonfire. That'll warm you up on the cold evening if the hayride resulted in a chill. Do like we did and bring a guitar. There's something magical about a sing-along infront of a bonfire. Don't forget the smores makings.
I went here looking for a deal. I didn't find that but they do have some really cool stuff. I was shocked at some of the prices, but I was amazed by one item in particular. They had an antique barber's chair, which was priced higher than my mortgage, but was pretty cool. This is a place to go to find one of a kind things, not deals. Come to think of it, Naperville's not the town to find deals. Things seem to be marked up just for sitting within the town. But this is a fun place to walk through if nothing else.
Yeah it's small, but there's a quaintness about small airports, don't you think. It harkens back to the old days. It's nice to pull right up and drop off or pickup. There's also something refreshing about walking out onto the runway. It makes me feel like a kid again. I also like the smaller planes a bit. I can imagine that they are my private airplane. It's a good small airport. Friendly staff and simple to navigate.
