We actually started to come here because a friend worked in the reception area, but we stayed because they care. They listen, they laugh, they care. Any parent knows that those first few peciatrician visits can be bears, what with the immunizations and all. The staff at Children's Health Partners made it go smoothly. As new parents, we may have overreacted and panicked on occassion. They call you back and talk to you about any concerns. Highly recommended.
My wife and I loved this practice. Our primary Dr. was Betty Hsia, who delievered our boy into this world. We also saw another doctor at the practice, Audrey Bromberger, who, not to hurt Dr. Hsia's feelings, was my wife's favorite. We always felt important when we came for appointments and they were encouraging and always answered our questions. In a time that could have been even more stressful, they were calm in the storm.
Maybe it's just me, but I felt like what I got at Phillip's for what I paid for was not of equal value. Surpirsing your wife on abudget in a reality for me and many others. When the budget gets stretched and the surprise is lacking, there's a problem. I think for $50 I got a small assortment that only lasted a little while. Like I said, it might just be me, but I'll never go back.
Although we only lived there for a relatively short period of our lives, 5th Avenue Station will always be home. From the wood beam ceilings to the exposed brick walls, the character of the place is amazing!! You'll be spoiled from wanting to live in any other apartment after this. Take the elevator down and walk to the downtown. Stop by and say HI! to Cathy, frank, or any of the staff, who are so friendly. It's a great place to live and I miss it!
Dr. Chan was such a blessing. My wife's teeth are her babies and she treats them with great care and they have always been a source of pride. Dr. Chan is not just a dentist, he is a student of teeth. He is a little perfectionistic, but do you really want anything less in a dentist, or any doctor for that matter? Wanting the best is good for your health.
When you move somewhere new, you need some comfort in knowing where to go when you don't feel your best. My wife got sick, not long after we moved to Aurora. We were recommended Dr. Karla Dorsey-Johnson at Spalding Family Medicine and we never regretted taking that recommendation. My wife was treated with care and respect and that was as healing as any prescription
We had a situation with a hood that refused to stay with the rest of the car and an insurance agent that was less than cooperative. The guys at Phoenix were a blessing. They worked with us and put my wife at ease, which is saying a great deal after such an event happened on her way to work. they gave us several options and halped us to relax and feel no pressure as we waited for the insurance company to come through. The repairs they finally made were perfect. the car looked better after the accident.
On a road trip, we inadvertantly struck, or were struck by, a deer. It did a lot of damage. I had never been here before, but my insurance company referred us here. They did a great job. You know how sometimes after an accident, the car never seems the same. That wasn't the case here. The folks fixed our car up as good as new. What a relief and what a comfort to know where to go.
When we moved to Aurora from Ohio, we needed to find dependable service for our Hyundai Sonata. Boy, did we!! The folks at Gartner bend over backward to make you satisfied. They'll even transport you, if needed. But for basic maintenance, you won't have to wait long enough for a lift. Check em out!!
Nicky's has a little for everyone. They have the best burgers around, in various forms. They also have cheesesteak to kill for and hot dogs. They are a family owned and run business and it shows. They have a loyal following that is rewarded with consistently good food. It's a fun location as well. It feels like a family style place, and they have TVs on the walls incase there's a Cubs game on. A fun place.
PROS: Burgers, Cheesesteak, Hot Dogs, Oh My!
