Turtle Back Zoo is a fairly small zoo with your "basic" animals. It is great for smaller children because it only takes about an hour and half to walk through. They have a train ride int he forest that goes nowhere but my kids seemed to enjoy it. The price was very inexpensive. They also have a place where you can feed the goats and trhere hand sanitizer there as well.
I have been to a couple of parties at Twist and Shout. Theyw ere all well run and well organized. the ones I attended had a dj dance type party. The dj had all the children up and dancing and having fun. they were prizes throughout and they ended the party with an ice cream sundae. Very cute!
Party and Play is a great place to take the kids on a rainy day. They have tons of tunnels running along the seling and they have differetn slides for all ages. They also have an area for smaller children and there are cameras on th elower level so you can see what your children are up to. They offer nicely run birthday parties as well.
Party Gym in Middletown is a convienant place to go to let your kids play and get out some energy. They have a climbing structure, balls, and toys. My kids have a blast. The only problem is that they dont clena very well and my kids always end up getting sick when we go there. The prices are reasonable about 5.00 a kid and they have private birthday parties as well.
I took my daughter to Old Bridge School of dance for ballet lessons. They had me wait in a small waiting room. I wasnt able to see my daughter dance. I had no idea what they were teaching and I missed out on everything. The prices were reasonable and the staff was freidnly but I chose to put my daughter in another school.
Hazlet Multiplex is a very large movie theatre place. They offer at least 9 first run movies. They have tons of parking which is great because it gets super busy on the weekends. The movie theatre food is expensive, but what theatre isnt. The place is pretty clean and well maintained. They also have great accomadations for the kiddies.
Great Adventure is an awesome time for the whole family. The have rides, games and shows for all ages. They also have 2 cute water features for the younger children. Parking is expensive, so get the pass even if you are only going one or two more times. The price of admission is expensive, but if you get the pass it pays for itself in two visits. The food is also really expensive and kind of GROSS.
Funtime America is soo gross. The minute I walked in there I knew I made a mistake coming. There was visible dirt on the walls, floors, "rides", and more. Half the rides didnt even work and I couldnt even find someone willing to get my money back from the non-working rides. SKIP THIS PLACE.
Dennys is my absolute favorite place to shop for my kids clothing. They have a really nice selection and they have hard to find brands as well. The prices are high but the clothing is soo nice! Also, the employees can be a bit snooty. They also have coupons and secret sales which make the prices alot better to swallow.
Jerry and Harveys has the best pastrami in town. They also have really great knishes. For all your jewish comfort food, this is the place to go. The prices are high but the quality cant be beat. For catering, they were on time and the food eas fresh and delcious. A must for all occasions.
