They have a really good selection of staionary, invitations, paper, etc. They also have a good selection of quality fine gifts. They are able to do printing there or you can just buy the paper and print at home on your own laser printer. They carry Crane stationary which is a really big plus for me.
Sometimes their customer service is hit or miss.
I have heard a lot of negative things about After Hours Formalwear and was ready to have to deal w/ them a lot. However, I was pleasantly surprised. We had a very confusing order. Some guys had their own tuxes and only needed the shirt package. My husband and his dad have the same first and last name as well as his brother in law and his son. So, I thought they would get those orders majorly mixed up. Not so. Also, they called us every month or so to give us an update on who all had placed their orders, who needed to pay, etc.
Everything arrived perfectly and in the correct sizes!
I called Jo Lins Bridal at least 3 times to find out if they carried a certain designer and style dress. Of course each time they said they were busy and would have to call me back. I'm still waiting for their call. You would think when you are going to spend $500 - $1500 on a dress they would be dying for your business. Not to mention you will probably buy your shoes, veil, bridesmaids dresses there also.
I took my business elsewhere.
Evelyn's was my first stop when looking for a bridal gown. While I didn't find what I was looking for there, their customer service was outstanding. I tried on at least 20 dresses while I was there and I never felt rushed. A lot of salons in Atlanta give you a limit w/ how many you can try on.
I would highly recommend Evelyn's to visit. It is definitely worth the drive!
PROS: Great service!
We use The Blossom Shop for work when ordering plants and flowers for employees. They are always super helpful and courteous. And, they always make good suggestions for flowers to use in the arrangements. And, they flowers are always spectacular!
They also do a lot of wire transfers for us and the flowers always arrive on time and in great shape!
The owner Jim is super nice and always knows exactly what he is talking about. They let me change my order numerous times for our wedding in September. We were lucky in that we reserved a 30x30 tent and they ended up upgrading us to a 40x40 because there was something wrong with the one we reserved.
They were in a location in West Columbia that was pretty small. They have since moved into a bigger building near Garners Ferry Road.
These rooms are a great price for studio rooms. About a year ago they were $74/night. Great location too! Right near Harbison with really great shopping. And, they have a pretty decent breakfast area. Cereals, OJ, coffee, yogurt, danishes, etc. It's really close to our house so a lot of family and friends stayed there when we got married in September.
PROS: Good price!
We go here pretty frequently for lunch and our food always arrives in a timely manner for us to get back to work. I have never eaten dinner here before, but they have a great lunch menu. I am pretty concerned about watching what kind of foods I eat, and they have a good variety of healthy choices. Lots of salads, good veggie plates, rotisserie chicken, etc.
My bosses love to go there on Thursdays for Turkey Day. They rave about it!
PROS: Great food - Good service!
I moved from Atlanta 2 1/2 years ago and after trying 3 other stylists finally stumbled upon Cline's Salon. It is a very tiny salon, but I love my stylist. His name is Matt Johnson. He has never let me down!
Great stylist & colorist!
PROS: Funky atmosphere - Great Service!
