Perviz has been our tax consultant for 2 years. He is a nice man and has done our taxes pretty well. We had a lot of confusion about the taxes initially when we got married...but he sorted out everything for us. He charges a very nominal fee and does a great job.
As you enter the shop u see these greek statues which kindles the sensual side of you...and inside there's more!!! Lots of different kinds of candles and candle stands, lamps, insense sticks and cones. Spiritual in a limited way and sensual to it's fullest!! They have lot of kama sutra stuff...they have gift boxes with all the things that u need to make your night(or day!!) special!!!
They have the cheapest dhals that i can find. If you have a family of more than 3 members or if you use shal often u might want to buy it from here. They sell dhals at wholesale price. I even saw bru coffee for $1-2 lesser than the other indian stores. I don't buy veggies here, though. They also have a nice chat shop, which has pretty decent stuff.
Tripty Gandhi did our INS exam. She was very prompt with her appointments and gave us some good advice. Her assistant is also a nice person. She charged us a very nominal rate for her services and was very warm and patient. Especially since i am terrified by injections and she made it so painless for me and explained why certain injections would pain!!!
I can't afford a trip to egypt but the Rosicrucian museum...yes!!!! I'm thankful that they even have something like this here. The replica of the tomb was simply awesome. They even have a planetarium there that shows u egyptian mythology etc. The tomb though was most breath taking. U could spend atleast 2-3 hrs looking through all the exhibits. After which u can spend some time outside in the papyrus garden that they have. Very beautiful place.
This library is pretty good for general reading. The kids section is small and though they do have some activities, it isn't like some of the other libraries i've been to. They used to lend DVDs and cassettes free...but they no more do. It's $1.50 for 3 days after which u have a late fee. I think they have begun improving their services...but they can do better.
This library has a huge collection of material. You can check for books online and pick them up. They have comfortable sofas to sit and enjoy reading books. The childrens section is huge and they have many activities including handwork for them. The DVDs and Cassettes are free upto 1 week whcih is grteat!!! The only drawback is that the books are not organized very well.
Please do not buy anything here!!! The prices are crazy...seems like they get cheap indian beads and bells from india and sell it for exhorbitant rates. I saw a bell for $15!!!!! It's won't even cost me 15 cents in India. The beads are expensive too...i would suggest going to the gem show at san mateo and getting quality stuff for lower rates.
I get my grocery for chinese foods here. They have everything u need...fish oil, oyster oil, shitake mushrooms, MSG, and they even have the traditional steamers in which u can make momos. I am not chinese so i don't know about the prices, but this store is close to where i work and is convenient for me. They also have tea pots and tea cup sets for around $15-25.
I just stumbled into this place by sheer luck! My brother is a photographer and was looking through the window of this shop when this really nice man asked us to have a look at what he'd collected over the years. The owner of this shop is a very nice man and has a very impressive collection of locks and safes. We spent 1 1/2 hrs in this tiny little shop!!!! It's an amazing place.
