I went here many times for school functions, birthday parties and more. It's a fun place with themed skates, games, and food for the kids. There are tables and games for when you are tired of skating. They offer rentals and have an announcer to keep things moving. Fun place for kids who like to skate.
A good place to stop in after a long day of shopping or for a break. They have mouth watering desserts and great malts and milkshakes. Of course they have great coffee too. It's located in the Walnut Creek outdoor mall. It's not the cheapest place, but a great place for a yummy treat.
They have nice wellness plans that are great for puppies since they need lots of shots and check ups. It also gives you a slight discount on mediciation and other items you need to purchase. However in comparison with other vet hospitals I feel this place is more of a mall type potrait place instead of a professional studio. They are there to get you on your way, not really give great quality care. It's a good place to go if you pet just needs routine stuff, but I wouldn't go there if my pet was really sick.
Morley field is one of the best disc golf courses in the state. I have been to many, some are bigger but I haven't found one that is as much fun. Most are free, and Morley field costs a dollar or two, but it's worth it. The terrain is extremely varied with elevation changes, open holes, holes through heavy vegitation etc... The proshop is small but has a good selection of discs and snacks, and is staffed by friendly, knowledgable people.
This is an excellent camera store. They have a good selection and decent prices. Mostly, though I have been impressed with the staff. Unlike many camera stores, they have always been very friendly and helpful.
I went to UCSD as a computer science major. They had an excellent program, and most of the teachers I had were decent. The program is very academic and theoretical and less practical, but that's expected from university like UCSD. When I was there it was an extremely crowded and difficult to get into major, but that may not be the case anymore.
I have been coming here for years, it's the best hobby store in the area. Their selection of radio control car and plane parts is excellent, and their prices are decent. Occasionally it's a little hard to get help, but the staff is usually knowledgable when you do.
They have a good variety of routes, that are updated frequently. The bouldering was fun and varied. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. Even my mom had an excellent time and they helpfully gave her pointers to get her up climbs she never thought she could do.
I went to Palomar College for 3 years before transferring to UCSD. I had a very good experience there. They have an excellent class selection and most of the teachers seemed to care about the students. The campus was easy to get to, and was in a nicer location than some of the other junior college in San Diego.
We have bought a few things here and have had great experiences. The salesperson was extremely friendly and we found out it was the owner later. He was very knowledgeable about furniture and explained how different manufacturing techniques make the furniture expensive, but worth it in terms of longevity. Got a great couch, no problems, would buy from again.
