We used this caterer for our wedding reception. We had a sit down dinner for 30 people. We chose a seafood and steak entree with various sides. However, she has menus to fit any budget. Our quote was about $17 a head. I felt that was very reasonable for the dish that we chose. It also included the tables, chairs, linens, place settings, 3 servers, set up and clean up. She also arranged to pick up our cake from the baker and bring it to the reception site.
PROS: menu selection, price, all inclusive
I checked out this store the other day. I was expecting secondhand books or deeply discounted new books. This store has neither. They carry older titles, or books no longer being printed. I didn't find the prices to be too much of a bargain. while the store is organized, I found myself having to hunt for children's books. They need to have larger signs for each section.
CONS: Prices, signage
People still talk about our wedding cake, provided by this baker. I'm not sure what they put in it, but you just have to get any special order cake from this baker, forget the grocery stores. They have many different flavors to choose from and there has not been one I hadn't liked. They have lots of sizes, round or square, so not just wedding cakes. They cost more than a grocery store, but it is so worth it, especially the red velvet!!
I stopped in here one time, after noticing their window display with pinatas. I was able to purchase a large pinata for about the same price as the ones at Party City. This store specializes in baked goods, their tres leches cake is wonderful. they are reasonably priced. They also carry interesting pinata fillers (most of them from mexico) and they will do special order cakes as well.
PROS: pinata selection
We hired this service to inspect our home before we purchased it. He does a very thorough job. He spent about two hours going through our home. A few days later we were supplied with a notebook full of information about the house. He divided it up into sections and gave us lots of information about each aspect of the inspection. He's also cheaper than any of the other inspectors in town.
The staff is always friendly and usually we are able to get in and out quickly. They are very convenient in that they are located on Hawthorne, just around the corner from all of doctor's offices on Prince and Sunset. I also wanted to pick up some tylenol while we there just so we wouldn't have to stop again, the price made my head hurt more.
PROS: staff, location is convenient to drs. offices
CONS: price of other merchandise
We've had these guys out a few times to maintain and repair our ice machine. The technician I've dealt with is very knowledgeable even though our ice machine is OLD. They are usually quick to come out, they do a great job and their pricing is reasonable.
PROS: Technicians, price, wait time
I thought this place was kind of creepy, glow in the dark golf located in a mall. Our kids really seemed to enjoy it though. It's also something a little different to do when it's raining out. They charge around $7 for two rounds of golf. They also have a hole in one challenge where you can win prizes.
Lots of beautiful items to choose from. The items are supplied by various dealers. We found a table that we were really interested in, but it was a little out of our budget, the clerk up front called the dealer to tried to get a better deal for us. Some of the dealers are really good about marking down items that have been hanging around for awhile.
PROS: helpful staff
This antebellum home is the perfect site for your wedding. You won't be disappointed with the pictures that are taken from inside the home and out on the grounds. Check them out for special events such as live music and wine tasting. We went to a wine tasting event here and it was really nice. It was elegant without being too stuffy.
PROS: house, staff, ambiance
CONS: a little pricey
