This is a fairly large hotel in town. It has older furniture/decor so the rooms aren't that great. Overall it is pretty clean. The employees were pretty helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The main problem with this hotel is it's indoor pool. While, it may be nice to swim in, it is located in the center of the hotel. Our room bordered the pool so it was super loud pretty much all day.
This is an older motel in the area so the decor and furniture is pretty dated. It is a smaller family run establishment. It does not have any amenities - pool, weight room. The only thing it really had was a couple of vending machines. The rooms, beds, bathroom were pretty clean. It would not be my first shoice for motels in town but I would stay here again.
This is an overall good roller skating rink. But the waiting areas/lounge areas are pretty small. On busy days, you may lose your spot if you get up for a minute or two. It is a family oriented rink which is nice. The employees are friendly. Music is generally pretty good. It is easy to find and parking is never a problem.
I have been to several roller skating rinks in the greater Sacramento area and Rollerland is the best rink in the area. It is in a great location, behind Sunrise Mall. The building is well maintained and is pretty clean. They have a nice snack bar. There prices are pretty comparable to other roller rinks. They are great for birthday parties.
Iceland is the only year round ice skating rink in the area. The building itself is pretty old. The ice is well maintained and so are the rental equipment. I would return for ice skating only. The lounge area isn't that great. Parking can be pretty difficult as there is no lot, you must park on the street. Also, the area is improving but after dark it can be a pretty rough part of town.
I have attended several of their yoga/meditation classes. I have not used any of their other services. There yoga class is wonderful. It is done in a beautiful and calming room. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. Classes are great for beginners or advanced. Parking is pretty sticky - it is very limited but don't let that stop you from going.
We recently had a plumbing problem. We selected Bonney because we had heard their ads on the radio and we knew that they charged by the job not by the hour. We also needed a place that accepted credit cards, which they do. We made an appt for the next day between 12-3. They came just after 2 and fixed our problem. We have had no problems with it since. They seemed to have rates that are comparable with other plumbers.
Tanning salon is in a great location. However, it is difficult to get there during high traffic hours since Fair Oaks and Arden is such a high traffic area. They have plenty of tanning beds. I have never had to wait longer than 5 or so minutes. They have several different types of beds depending on your preference. The employees are helpful and are very nice.
This is an older bowling alley so it doesn't necessarily look that great but it is the only place in town that still has "cheap nights". It is in a great location (easily accessible) and there is plenty of parking available. I would recommend this bowling alley above all others in the Sacramento area - mostly due to the low cost.
The parking is horrible-there is no parking lot, you must park on the street. If you park across the street you have a long walk to get to a cross walk. They have a pretty small children's clothing section. The majority of the inventory was adult clothing. They have a nice book area. Employees are friendly. Prices are average - not great but not too expensive.
PROS: Selection of Used Adult Clothing
