Edgie's Billiards
this is a very very nice pool hall. they are located at the heart of silicon valley and is near a lot of tech companies. it is also near the mccarthy ranch plaza and the great mall of milpitas. back to edgies, it is very nice place with quality tables. only thing is that playing pool at a pool hall can get pretty costly, but thats as bad as it gets with this place.
Los Lagos Golf Course
this is one of the most beautiful courses that i've ever seen, especially out of no where in san jose. the best view of the course is standing on the second level of the driving range and looking over the actual golf course. their prices are pretty good, good golf shop, and very nice customer service. its a very long course so a cart is needed.
Jdr Microdevices
this place has a very big selection of electronic components and computer hardware and accessories. their prices are pretty steep though. they use to have in store buying and pickup, but now its only by will call. their service is pretty good, but watch out on large orders because i've experience some mistakes by them.
Lion Tully
this is one of the most popular asian supermarkets in san jose. they are so popular that people i know in san francisco also buys stuff from them when they go to san jose. their prices are very reasonable, always having fresh produce, poultry, and seafood. they always have all their lines open so thats saying something because not even safeway have all their lines open.
Aristas Flowers Dolls
this is a nice little florist that i go to when i need flowers for all ocasions. their prices are also pretty decent from my experience, but than again, i dont buy as much flowers at some other people. their service is also very good and their flowers are very fresh, so i trust them when i need any flowers.
Lucky Seven
this is a nice little supermarket. i dont go here that often, but when i need to pick up something quick, i go here because i know they always have what i want. their prices are also very reasonable. i like this place during crab season the most because of their price and the quality of their crabs.
Hsc Electronic Supply
this is a good place for computer enthusiest and engineers. they carry products from electronic components to computer hardware items such as hard drives and such. i use this place for school projects, and i really like their website. their prices are also very reasonable, but im not saying that it is cheap.
99 Ranch Market
this is one of the better asian supermarkets in san jose. they have a wide variety of produce, poultry, canned food, and seafood. they also carry air coolers, portable air conditioning units, rice cookers, and water boilers. also a lot of frozen items. they also have a good fast food area with a very good bakery also.
Quan Richard E DDS
highly recommended othrodontist. many years of experience. has a lot of patients which proves that he is very good. his assistents are very good also, which a very nice and friendly front desk. they are also very flexible on the payment plans. dont be too worried about the price, because you will know with him, at the end your teeth will be straight.
Rancho Del Pueblo Golf Course
this is a very very lowly decent golf course. only 9 holes offering only one par 4, the rest are par 3's. the driving range isn't all that great either. only one level and the mats are pretty warn down. one of the netting on the sides is also ripped so if anyone hits a slice in that area, it has the chance of hitting a car in the streets. prices arent that much better, slightly more expensive than other places.
