There really isn't much to it, but like the stars in Hollywood, it is very interesting. We love hanging out in the loop and it always catches our eye. I have to admit, it would be cool to do something that stands out enough to merit a star on the WALK OF FAME. We always see someone that we did not know was from St. Louis in a star. Friends that we take there, always comment on what a neat little "addition" to the loop that is. I think it is wonderful.
I heard about Creve Cour Camera when I took a college class in photography. They are so knowledgeable there, that is worth its weight in gold when it comes to cameras. I have since moved on to digital, and have not been back since, but when I was shooting with film, that was THE place to go. They have a huge selection, and I believe they did repairs as well. It has been awhile, but I would definitly go back to Creve Coeur Camera!
I really enjoy reading new age books, and this is where to find some good books. They have it all, religion, space, unknown, future, gothic. They had some music cd's when I went there. They also had some jewelry, incense, and candles as well. I believe they hold special readings and gatherings there once in a while. Very mystical.
I had my belly pierced here, years ago. They are still there, I believe they updated! I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff. They are really into their work. They really care about customers. They know their "usuals" by name. It really impressed me how clean they were. They calmed my fears, walking me through the whole process. They have a great selection of jewelry too.
I had a friend that took me here as support when she got her first tattoo. The tatoo artist was so profressional, he worked with her, He calmed her down, he talked her through the whole process. He offered suggestions. He made her so relaxed. I would recommend for sure, I'm not sure if the same artists are still there, but my experience at Trader Bob's was a great one.
Growing up we used to go here, we were all into our cars. I went there a couple of months ago, I was so disappointed. Having the other "options" around town, you will find that Fantasy is expensive and outdated. There was no help, and when I told friends of my experiences there, they had similiar stories. I would not recommend.
This was a place that we went to in high school and boy what a good time. You run around like crazy dodging paintballs. They had obsticles that you hid under and behind, and they set us up in groups. It was a crazy place to take a date, and I had friends that set up tournaments there. They rent you the equipment, I'm not sure if you can bring your own. It does get expensive, but to do it here and there, what a blast!
We went here when we were teenagers and now I take my kids there, so it has been there for some time. They offer batting cages, which are going rate price wise, but we had to wait for a cage. The mini golf is set up alright, it is fun, but my older children lost interest in it. To be fair, they aren't much on mini golf! On a warm weekend, expect it to be busy!
I heard about Karen Anns from so many people I know that like to cook, that I had to see for myself. I was so happy I did. This store sells cooking supplies that you will not find anywhere else, I have always been pleased with the selection. The location is convenient, and the parking is never a problem. It can be pricey, but it is worth it. The women that helped me was so kind that she made the shopping experience there a good one.
We walked into this store not expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. They had a lot to choose from in dancewear. My daughter loves wearing fancy gymnastic leotards, and they had plenty. They had tons of accessories too. It is a smaller store, but they make up for it in service. They have some good prices too, not too expensive. The staff seems to really try to help you find what you are looking for.
