This is the only Korean food market in this area. They have all the necessities, but not a whole lot more. The prices are just a little higher, but that is to be expected. Works when you don't want to drive to Chicago or Schaumburg.
I absolutely love the GCB on 8th in Moorhead. Ever since I opened my account, they remember me by name. My kids love going because they have cookies in the lobby. When I made a mistake once, they were very good in helping me clear up the mess. Their drive-up window is opened earlier and stays later than even other GCBs. I have referred 6 different people there and have gotten great gifts for doing so.
PROS: Early and late window hours
This was one of the best museums for children. There are so many hands-on displays. The scientific displays are not too "brainy" that a 6 year old cannot understand. There was a train and carousel ride afterwards, as well as a garden and a miniature golf course. These have separate fees from the museum itself. But for the small fee, this was definitely the trip. They are constantly changing the exhibits. A MUST trip for children.
PROS: All the hands-on displays
CONS: Sometimes, can be very crowded
They had the best price for suits with NO coupons or club. They were not able to get a couple tough stains that another cleaner was. But, I will have the suits cleaned here. Also, the tickets they give you itemize everything, so you can check.
PROS: Good price without coupon
CONS: Couldn't get all stains out
The transmission died on our car, and we were concerned about getting scammed. Well, they inspected our car and explained what was wrong. But they went a step further and SHOWED all the parts that were broken and what they should look like. There was no room for doubting after seeing everything and answering all our questions. They gave us a packet that contains information on how to maintain the transmission. After the repair was completed, they scheduled a follow-up to make sure everything was working well. You walk away feeling reassured that the job was done correctly.
PROS: Walks through every step of each process
We stated here because we got the best rate in town, but were concerned after finding out that it used to be the old Super 8. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and the people were kind. There are very few amenities, but all we wanted was a clean room for the night. (Nothing worse than paying a lot of money for a dirty room.)
PROS: Clean and reasonably priced
CONS: Few amenities
All of their products are "homemade" and extremely fresh tasting. They had a variety of samples, which I think is important so you know exactly what you are buying. Everything tasted heavenly. Only bad side is all good things come at a price. You can go to their store or order online at www.sweetpromotionsmn.com. Nice Mom and Pops store.
PROS: Also available online
They fixed a necklace, that was purchased there 7 months ago, that had a loose link for no charge. Also, I was looking for a watch for my husband. They had the lowest price in town for that same watch. (I checked all the stores - Sears, Penneys, Wimmers, Helzberg, the watch kiosk in the mall, Kohls, etc. - so I am being exact and not exaggerating). They adjusted the band right then, cleaned my husband's old watch band for free, and did a complimentary gift wrap. Nice to have that kind of service available.
PROS: Customer service
We were so impressed with our first 15 passenger van that we rented our second van from them. They gave a discount because it was a church rental. Also, when the person who was suppose to pick up the van was running behind, they found someone to stay behind 30 minutes AFTER closing so we could pick up the van. That is what you call customer service. They really do have the best rate for the newest vans here in this area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
PROS: Great customer service
