Archie Mc Phee Toy Store
I swear. I mean, really, who doesn't need a chinese takeout box purse, a red floppy fortune teller fish, a fire spitting nun, and a six pack of rubber ducky pencil toppers? This store is a riot, and tons of fun for the entire family - both young and old alike. The best part is that they've expanded to two seperate shops! You can also find all sorts of great fabrics for your own creations. The parking is pretty good for the area.
Hawaii General Store
I absolutely adore this store. The beautiful fragrance when you walk through the doors is like stepping right off the plane onto the islands! The service here is extremely helpful, and the selection very nice, however the parking is quite lacking. The store has a fantastic location, just off I-5 near the University District and Greenwood, but like most businesses in that area, they are kind of stuck with on-street parking.
Wild Waves & Enchanted Villa
This is a great park to take family and friends to. The only drawbacks are that you can only really go there during two months out of the year, or you freeze your butt off!
Quiznos
I've been here a few times, because it's the closest supply store to us. However, I don't usually find what I'm looking for here. The selection just isn't all that great, and the customer service could be better.
Party America
Party America has a good selection, and you're bound to find what you're looking for here. They seem to be the major costume outfitters for your typical Halloween costumes.
Cat Club
The stage is really almost too small for most bands and their equipment, and the floor can get really crowded. (But it's nice that there's always the upstairs to hang out in.) And it would be nice to have more than one bathroom stall. Overall, I do like the looks of what's been done to remodel, though. Good music, too! Parking is tough, as with most clubs in the area. I think the lot out back is $7 or so.
Paladino's
The stage is a nice size, and the room is large enough to not feel cramped. Also, Paladino's has a great range of music, and I just love the blacklights!
Green's Sports Bar
Yes, this place is a ton of fun, but not much fun if you don't have a lot of cash to spend. I also wasn't too impressed with the mixed drinks, but hey, you're really here for the golf right?
Fair Oaks Ranch Community School
My son doesn't complain about going to school now, and I think it's because he's finally at a school that he likes, and has an understanding teacher. It's only been a few months, but so far I am very happy with how this school is run.
A Chorus Line Dancewear
This shop is great for costumes as well as for wedding items. I bought my gloves and veil here, and rented the crinoline, and feel that I got a great deal all around. The service is especially out of this world, they're very interested in helping all of their customers, no matter the price you're planning to spend. The one lady that helped me really knew what she was doing, regarding getting me the perfect sizes.
