I had to go here once back when I worked in the area. The employees all seemed to be barely 18 if that. The center seemed cramped and over crowded. Way too many fees if you're late or if they had to do something out of the ordinary. The owner seemed like a snob and the place had a dirty feel to it even though I couldn't find any garbage laying around. Lastly my children didn't like it so I didn't go back.
CONS: small, young staff, dirty feel
I've tried many daycares and this is the one my family has settled on. The owner is always there, from dawn til dusk. She would never let anything bad happen to your children. She screens all her employees and most are old enough to be at the maturity level you need. They do lots of different activities so your children will never get bored. There's a large playground area with high fences. The best part is they don't nickel and dime you if your a little late picking the kids up.
PROS: big fences, owner is always on site, great staff
CONS: normal prices
First thing you'll notice walking in is all the artwork on the wall done by the children. Some of it seemed professional but turns out all was done by the kids. The staff was all middle aged and seemed extremely bright and positive. They have areas setup for different age group so that diferent things can be taught. The playground had all hard platic toys so it was more than safe. My children loved going here and if they were still on my way to work then I'd take them there more often.
PROS: large center, lots of art, group areas, nice playground
They always seem to carry the item I'm looking for and sometimes they'll have large discounts on certain items. They have been great to deal with. Very fast on shipping the items that I need that are not in stock. The store is bright with high ceilings and it doesn't have that smell that some pet shops seem to have. Clean and wide open aisles so it's easy to move around in with your pet and children. The employees are nice and seemed to love all animals and are knowledgable about them too.
PROS: nice staff and knowledgable, great prices, can ship items not in stock
We hired Chris for our sisters wedding because a friend said he did great weddings in the past for them. From the word go he was interested in what we wanted and not what he wanted or what he could do. Throughout the whole process he maintained professionalism and even gave us tips on a good dj. The pictures turned out better than everyone's hopes and desires and plus everyone we showed the pictures too asked for his card. Plus the prices were fair compared to other photographers in the Auburn area.
PROS: professional, curtious, interested in what we wanted
They showed up on time and in wedding attire. The prices was a little high but turned out to be more than worth it. Their photojournalistic style and natural talent allow them to take pictures that tell stories and capture the feelings. They were unobtrusive, professional and kept the shoots flowing. They told the story of our wedding day beautifully and the few black and whites they did gave us a look and feel of yester year. If you want a highly talented artist and first class personal touch then hire them to document your wedding. You won't be disappointed.
PROS: prompt, professional attire, artistic
CONS: high prices but well worth it
My husband and I used GM as a dj for our wedding because a friend said they were good. There seemed to be a communication gap right away because we wanted to know what songs we could choose from and they took forever to get the list to us. Of course there was no problem for them collecting the deposit. Once we had picked our songs and mailed the list to them they said they never recieved it so we had to start the process all over again. At our wedding the dj didn't play all the songs we had requested and was dressed in a regular suit and tie instead of a tux.
PROS: The music system sounded good, prices are normal for a dj
CONS: dj wore suit instead of tux, didn't have all my songs, bad communication
I thought that I could plan my sisters wedding on my own using the help of my friends and family. But things were getting way behind scheduel and we were within three months until the wedding. Then someone said I should try First Night because they had done such a good job for their wedding. In less then a few weeks they had sorted everything out for me. They got everything back on track and my sister ended up with the most beautiful wedding with a tropical theme. I wish that we had started out with a planner because it would have saved us time and money.
PROS: they saved the wedding, they were quick and professional
I never thought I would use a wedding planner but I'm so glad we did because she knew things we would never had and helped us save thousands of dollars. She knew of all the best locations and matched our traditional values to the event. She knew our budget and didn't go over it more than a couple thousand. She did a great job of including my husband and took care of our needs and wishes. The event turned out awesome and I have them to thank. I highly recommend them to get the best wedding of their dreams!
PROS: saved us thousands, traditional values, great job
CONS: did go over budget by a couple grand but that was cheaper than most
I was unhappy with the behavior over the girl who gave me my cut. She kept stopping to take cell phone calls and at first I thought they might be business related but after listening they were personal in nature. Also she did my color wrong and it ended up being darker than I told her I had wanted. She told me that it was fade over time but a month later and it even seemed darker to me if that's even possible. She just seemed so insensitive when this was the hair I had to walk around in public in. I won't be back unless they get someone new in there.
PROS: my cut was okay, the color was off
CONS: Stylist took personal cell phone calls during my cut, bad color
