Food TV's chocolate chef Jacques Torres' original shop located in DUMBO is well worth the trip. They sell chocolates as well as have a mini cafe where they serve hot chocolate. The spicy hot chocolate is fantastic. You can also buy the same in powder form. The chocolates themselves are great. From various nuts dipped in fine rich chocolate to truffles and squares. Delicious from wall to wall!

Located in Curry Hill, this little spice shop has amazingly good variety of quality spices and products. From wonderful good quality saffron to big delicious nuts, they have it all. As soon as you enter the store, the aromas from the spices and nuts sweeps you off your feet. It's easy to go overboard here and purchase a lot more than you need. So watch out!

You'll find frozen foods, naans in packs just like pitas, hair oil, beauty products, wheat flour, rice flour, rice, lentils, pulses, fresh vegetables, snacks, kitchenware, and more!

Located in Soho, they started out as an online only seller, but after finding success they launched stores in San Fransisco & New York. They carry various urban vinyl figurines, Kubrick figures, plush toys, Stikfas action figures, t-shirts, and more. Their selection is more teenager or just pre-teens friendly, but even adults may find something to their liking. With wall to wall display toys and helpful staff this store won't disappoint.

Located in the second largest park in NYC, right near the famous Unisphere, and the Arthur Ashe tennis court, this museum is worth the trip.
The biggest draw here is The Panorama of the City of New York. A to scale representation of the city, almost entirely accurate, it was originally created for the World's Fair in 1964. The walk around the panorama simulates the helicopter ride you could have taken back in 1964, it circles the entire city providing a great view and wonderful opportunity for pictures.
The museum also features other exhibits, including one focusing on Tiffany lamps and windows.
Located on Coney Island in Brooklyn, this famous amusement park features the popular wooden rollercoaster, Cyclone. Built in 1927, this wooden rollercoaster, reaching speeds of 60 miles per hour, is a NYC landmark. Although it is neither faster nor has bigger drops than lots of newer rollercoasters that have been built since then, this rollercoaster is a must see because of the sheer fun it provides. The creaking of the wood is normal and part of the thrill.
The park also features other rides such as the Water Flume, Top Spin, Power Surge, etc. They also have kiddie rides.
