Bob Hamilton Plumbing Heating
It is very important (especially in emergencies) to have a handy man that that is trustworthy, dependant, honest and fair. Bob is the guy for all of those needs. He is fast and affordable - came to our rescue in a plumbing emergency and did not charge me an arm and a leg for it.
Zonkers
This place is great fun for the kiddos. They have several different indoor rides that you can either pay for per ride or get a wrist band to go on all the rides unlimited all day long. They have tunnels for the kids to crawl in, a mini roller coaster, a little train the really little ones can ride and several other things to do.
Watsons Olathe Superstore
Watsons is KC's largest Pool & Spe Dealer. They have a huge assortment of all your aquatic needs. They are always running sales too, so you can almost always get a good deal. The only thing I cant stand is the Watsons girl on their overplayed commercials. She is almost as annoying as nails on a chalkboard.
Gifts & Accents
This place has been around for a long time. I used to love to go in here to get my Precious Moments figurines. They have a ton of different collectibles and unique gift ideas here. They are expensive - so be prepared - but it is a great place to shop for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list.
Dearborn Animal Clinic
I took my cat here ot have him declawed and neutered. My cat of course wasn't too happy about it - but I loved the way they handled him. It was very fair in price, and they took very good care of my cat. You can tell that this place really cares about their pet patients.
Totally Silver
Totally Silver Jewelry is the perfect place to find that unique silver jewelry piece for a gift or for yourself! From the helpful sales staff to the selection of silver accessories, this store is one to visit. Since the store is somewhat small, there is not a vast selection or variety. However, it is still a great shop to check out for that one of a kind gift!
Rustic Yearnings
This is a great place if you are a crafter, looking for home decor, or want to sell some of you handmade items. This place has an "old timey" theme. They have old looking fabric and quilting supplies. They all have more candles than I have ever seen in one place in my entire life. It always smells really good in there. They also have a lot of gift opportunities in there. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it. My mom is a well-established doll maker and she shops for her supplies in there all the time.
Palazzo 16 Theatres
The Palazzo is an Italian themed movie theater. With 16 theaters you can see any movie that's out. The Palazzo is in a new shopping center, so you can have a nice dinner and movie. Palazzo's prices are cheaper than AMC. One of the great deals is a 50 cent small popcorn and free popcorn on Wednesdays before 6. It is a great, fun, and safe place for teens.
Community America Credit Union
Stay away!! There is NOTHING good about this credit union. You can only get up to $500 in cash out per day. They are only open 4 days a week. They do give all members a signature loan of $1500, but you will pay 500% interest. The place is a joke.
Just For You A Full Svc Salon
I spent a fortune on getting my nails done here and would never reccommend anyone to do business here. I got tips put on and within a week they fell off. They were supposed to sand my nailbeds down and did not. When I came back in, they said it was my fault because I was too hard on my nails.
