Quality Taxi
I do not like to drive downtown, so whenever I have to go downtown I rely on a taxi service. I have called Quality Taxi Service on more than one occasion and have been very pleased with the service and what they charge for thier fares. On several ocassions I needed them to wait while I ran in somewhere to take care of some buisness. I never had a problem with them not being there when I returned. The drivers are always very courteous and friendly. They have very strict policies about reckless driving and invite you to call to report any such behavior. Give them a try !
Fabian's Painting & Const
I have several places that I lease out and in between each tennant, I usualy have the place painted to give it a fresh new look. When I do I usualy use Fabian's Painting. They are reliable and do a very good job. I know that if I have left the place in the care of the employees at Fabian's the job will be done and done right. They are real good about cleaning up after themselves and the place always looks great. i never have a problem with the money that they charge me. They use high quality products and you can usualy tell with the end result. If you are in need of having any painting done call Fabian's.
Frank's Paint & Body Shop
I was involved in a little fender bender and even though the accident was minor the whole quarter panel had to be removed and straightened out. then it had to be all sanded down and repainted. The hard part was going to be matching the paint. I took the car to Frank's and they had the job done from start to finish in 3 days. The end results were fantastic and you couldn't even tell that the car had been involved in an accident at all. I was very impressed with the results and with the price that they charged me. i would consider using them again if the need should arrise. If you need body work done then these are the folks to see.
Eye Clinics of South Texas
I was getting lots of headaches and went to the dr. He gave me some medicine and I went home and still was getting headaches. I went to a diferent dr. and He suggested that I get my eyes examined. I went to Eye Clinics of South Texas. they did an eye exam and determined that I did indeed need glasses. They decided on the perscription and then I picked out a real nice set of designer frames. The price was very reasonable and I had my glasses in two days. I started wearing them as my dr. suggested and have yet to get another headache. It is amazing but the eye-strain was causing the headaches. Need glasses? Check these folks out you will be glad that you did.
Executive Cut Barber Salon
These folks have been cutting my hair for quite sometime. I have never left out of there feeling like they didn't do a good job. They are real good about hooking me up with the right kind of shampoo and conditioner. One year at halloween i was going to a costume party and needed somthing done to my hair that would be a little diferent. They saw me without an appointment kinda a spur of the moment deal and put some color on my hair that made it black and orange. I showered after the party and it all washed out. I have to admit it looked pretty cool! i'm kinda funny about my hair and when I find someone that i like I keep going back to them. Try them out and you will probably become regulars too!
Ethan Allen Home Interiors
I had to completely furnish one of my rental properties. I was going to rent it out to some of the larger companies as an executive home, so the furniture had to be nice. It would save the companies money in putting the executives in pricey hotels while giving the executives the comforts of home. I went shopping at several diferent places but it was clear that Ethan Allen was the place I was going to buy the furniture. I furnished the whole place with some beautiful very well made furniture and did so at a very reasonable price. They delivered and set the furniture up. All I had to do was be there and tell them where everything went. Go by and check them out you will be impressed with the store and the prices.

I have several properties that I lease out and at first was trying to do everything myself and work a full time job. I didn't have the expierience necessary and ended up leasing to some people that I shouldn't have and ended up being skipped out on plus had to pay an enormous amout of money for damages. I then decided to get some help from Equity. They now manage all my properties and very well I might add. it is so much easier to have and expierienced company handling matters. They are very reasonable in thier fees and the money spent is very well worth it. They know how to get responsible tennants into the properties so I don't have to deal with anything other than reasonable wear and tear.
Enterprise Rent A Car
I had a very good friend that had moved away in junior high school. We kept in touch and recently we were talking on the phone and I told him to come for a visit and offered to rent him a car to use while he was here. He agreed! I hung up and called several diferent places all were very expensive or had nothing available. I finaly decided to go with Enterprise cause they offered a nice car for a very reasonable price. When he got in town and went to pick up the car we were waited on very quickly and were driving out in 15 minutes. The car was beautiful and very clean. We were 4 hours late returning the car and nobody said a word nor did they charge me for an extra day! Thumbs up to Enterprise!
Encino Septic & Backhoe Service
I recently bought some property and put a mobile home on it. My plans were to rent it out. I called around to several diferent companies and it was Encino that quoted me te best price. I gave them the go ahead and they came out and had the whole job completed in three days. I was very impressed with the price and the completed job. They also do other things besides digging septic tanks. They do any kind of work that requires a backhoe. To rent thier backhoe service you will find thier prices very competitive to anyone else that you will talk to. I will use them again and would recommend them to you!
Embrey Roofing Co
I have several properties that I lease out and some of my renters called me one afternoon and said that the roof was leaking. I called the insurance adjuster and he came out and determined that there was a signifigant amount of wind damage from a previous storm. I then called Embrey's and they sent a gentleman out that bid on the roof. I was happy with the roof but said I wouldn't be able to do anything till the insurance company settled with me. They said no problem we will do the work and when you get the money from the insurance company you can pay us. They did an excellent job replacing the roof and cleaning up thier mess. i was able to pay them one week after completion. I was very happy with everything about Embrey's Roofing!
