I was to critique dealers in the area for my previous job and I decided to check out Motor Werks. They carry serveral different automakers such as BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Porsche and Infiniti. the showroom is huge and very nice displays of all their vehicles. They also have a huge lot of their new cars so most likely they have a car that you are looking for. I decided to talk t oa BMW salesman. I advised the salesman I was interested in a new BMW 545i with SMG. At the time, this vehicle was fairly new and so the salesman advised all of their allocation right then was sold but I can order one. They wanted $3,000 over invoice and I told them I only was looking. He then advised no problem and told me to fill out an order form and when I was ready, to call them to confirm the order. At the last page he wanted me to sign and if I wasn't paying attention, I would have signed the sales contract. It was very sneaky. Maybe it was just that salesman but you might just want to becareful before signing any paperwork.
My family has purchase 4 vehicles from Mercedes Benz of Arlington Heights in the last 5 years. They have always given us the best price and their salesman and General Manager has always been excellent to us. They were recently bought out by another owner and the General Manager is no longer there. Hopefully the new owners will continue the good sales service from the previous owner. Their service departmnet is also very good as they would provide a loaner whenever there was warranty work. Good service, sales, and parts department. I must see if you are planning to purchase a Mercedes.
My friend was looking for a Caddilac STS and saw one at Woodfield Chevrolet. They have a nice size lot for used cars and my friend and i test drove the car. The salesman was very funny and never did we felt pressured or cornered. My friend got a very good deal and they even threw in a small warranty for the vehicle. They even gave him brand new tires and chrome wheels. My friend was very happy with the purchase and would go back to purchase a car again at Woodfield Chevrolet if need so.
When my girlfriend was looking for a Maxima, we decied to purchase at Bill kay Nissan. They had the best price and the sales were very friendly and tried their best to get us the best deal. I can't comment on their showroom as at that time, they were expanding their showroom so their sales department operated in a trailer. All the salesman were very friendly to us and even congratulated us while we were shown the car. The finance manager was also very nice and helped us sign the paperwork very smoothly. Check them out if you are looking for a Nissan!
My girlfriend has an Nissan Maxima and we decied to use Glendale nissan for oil changes or warranty work. They service consultant was very professional and listened when we had some questions about the vehicle. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all our questions such as the alarm system and changing to synthetic oil. The waiting area is nice and clean with a TV and vending machine. Good experience.
For my previous job, I was to rate dealers in the area. Arlingotn Lexus is a very good dealer. The salesman let me have my space when I came in and they always advised if i needed any question, to ask them. They showroom was very nicely done as expected for a Lexus dealer and they even have a mini putting for those who are waiting for service. I also checked out their service department and they would wash your car whenever you use their service. Their service consultant was very nice when i asked them some questions and never would they pressure you in any way. A good experience!
When I purchased my Corvette, I had a pleasent experience with Hoskin's Chevrolet. The salesman was very friendly and was never pushing for the sales. Made me very comfortable. The place was very clean and a family style dealer. I also had an accident with my Corvette and their bodyshop was very good in fixing to spec at a very reasonable price. The bodyshop manager was very helpful and listened to everything I needed done. Their service is somewhat mixed. Whenever I needed my Corvette serviced, they did a great job and their Corvette Mechanic was excellent and always greeted me whenever I came in. My friend who has a Camaro said they weren't very good to him as they tried to fix something that wasn't broken and charge him for an estimate when they advised in the beginning the estimate was free.
