This company is locally and family owned...but is definitely worth every penny if you would rather not have to do your landscaping yourself! The job I needed to have done was not as big as some - but these guys have no minimum purchse on turf, and do a real good job!
I have had the opportunity to go in to Sally's beauty supply to pick up a few coupon deals for my wife. A man in a hair supply store is definitely a duck out of water. But...the staff was helpful enough to always point me towards what I was looking for, which resulted in me always bringing out the product that my wife asked for...which doesn't happen very often!
Helpful staff, and from looking at my wife's coupons...great deals too!
Computer lane is full of all types of choices to build your own computer system. It is fun to go in and just see what they've got! Plus, they have a website, so if you're not sure and don't like stopping in a store, you can go online and put together something before you actually go in and buy it. The prices are reasonable too. love this place!
Though Maceys is a large store with bargains galore, they are not part of a large chain of grocery stores, so they retain their uniqueness as a store, and play by their own rules as well!
Maceys is the place to do all your price-checking for Walmart. Even if you just read the paper insert, you are sure to find incredible prices that you won't find anywhere else!
One silly, but important detail: When my wife was chairbound, they actually gave her a permanent key to one of their electric carts to use whenever she needed, since we were such regular customers at that point! How friendly.
Orem Auto Electric is an excellent place for auto repairs, especially for your electrical issues. They seem to be able to get you in quickly, and have the expertise in certain areas that not all auto shops have. Their prices are fair, and they seem to be honest people. My parents also took their cars to Orem Auto Electric for years, and definitely trusted their own experience there, as well.
I have been buying my household furniture and electronic items from RAC for years now. I have bought a Portable Dishwasher, Couch, Loveseat, T.V. Dryier, Computer, laptop, amongst other things.
Because I have been a trusted customer who has always purchased and never defaulted, I get my first month payment free, and often am able to take things home for a month trial period, such as dvd players, laptops, etc. Plus, now that I've been with them for a while, the prices I pay are pretty close to the other stores...interest and all.
I've really enjoyed buying my things through these guys. This method might not be for everyone...but it was a low stress, high hope choice for us!
I go mainly to another place to get my hair done...but fantastic sams is comparable to Dollar Cuts. If you're a guy - things seem to go great. I can't speak for ladies, they may feel differently, but as a guy, my needs are always met at places like fantastic sams. I get a great price for a basic cut and sometimes the shampoo and style is tossed in as part of a special. Give it a try.
I have to say up front, that it is the Doctor I wouldn't reccommend and not the clinic so much...and I wish I could remember his specific name.
Regardless, our visit to this clinic was memorable...but not in a good way. First of all, my wife had great difficulty walking and was chair bound for years. When we visited the clinic, we found that there was a great ammount of walking to do to get around to where we needed to go. They offered no wheelchairs that fir my wife, and offered no assistance by staff to help get her to her Doctors section of the clinic.
On top of this, the doctor we met with - the details of I remember is of him being slightly unkempt, and had some sort of thick accent. His bedside manners were rough and very pessamistic. He didn't reveal anything to us that we didn't already know, but treated my wife as if she was naughty, and was going to be punished by death! Literally. He also took me aside and told me to get my wifes affairs in order. Other than that, he offered absolutely no expertise as to the sollution for the particular ailment we were there to visit with him about.
So, visit this clinic, as I am sure it is competent in itself...but bring your own wheelchairs if you have difficulty walking far...and avoid a large framed, heavily accented doctor!
Doctor Crump has been our family doctor for years. He is somebody who has become a key player in the recovery of my wife from many of her ailments - and has been a great supporter too.
But he's not your typical general practicioner. He has a Wife and Family of his own - and though his business is thriving - so much so that he now has two locations - one in Provo and the other in Eagle Mountain, he still maintains a sort of "country doctor" attitude. At least with us.
He accepted us at a time when we didn't have insurance, but had many medical issues we were dealing with. Though he no longer accepts un-insureds, he still willingly takes us, every other month, despite the fact that we've maintained a running total bill with him forever it seems.
I guess it's the feeling that you're not just dealing with a doctor, you're dealing with a humble, kind man - that is genuinely interested in the practice more than the money.
My wife has visited Rock Canyon Family Medicine for years now, because of some chronic coniditions she has had. In fact, for many years, we went at the very least, once a month!
We have worked with several of the staff there, but our main Doctor is Dr. Kenneth L. Crump.
We can't even begin to describe what a great Doctor he has been to work with. He has bent over backwards to make sure we had the things we needed, such as sufficient samples in the times when insurance wasn't covering prescriptions. He has been ultra caring about our individual lives, and has gone out of the way to make sure he either has the right treatment for my wife and her various prolems, or gets her to somebody who does.
If you are looking for a general Doctor who you can feel good about seeing - Dr. Crump might be for you!
