Chatham Created Gems Inc
This is a very nice jewelers- they mostly have created gems so it is not like you're going to go in here and get a perfect real diamond ring. But that just means that the prices are much more reasonable. The quality of the jewelry and the stones that they have do look very nice- especially for the price. Some of the pieces look as though they are much more expensive then they actually are. They also have a very nice selection of different bracelets and necklaces.
Cook Maureen Phd
This doctor is an excellent psychologist. Now- she is not a psychaitrist so she can't proscribe drugs, but she is also less expensive per hour then a psychaitrist. She's a good listener and very smart and quite good at what she does. The office and atompshere is friendly and warm and calming and makes a person very comfortable to be there.
Deer Jr Edwin W Dds
I found these dentists through 1-800-Dentist. They are just general dentists- don't go here for braces or cosmetic dentistry but if you need a teethcleaning and a basic cavity check then this is the place to go. The dentist I was with was very very nice and he was patient with my slight fear of dentists. He had a few different flavors of toothpaste (as most dentists do) and the minty one didnt' taste bad. My teeth looked nice and clean when he was done. He takes most types of insurance and I think he can work out a payment plan with you if you don't have insurance.
Davids Tailor Shop
I took a skirt here to get tailored- and I get a lot of things tailored. I had to try on the skirt and I felt like they were going kind of quickly in measuring me because they stuck me with a pin- which may have affected my view of the place. The work that they did was good and I was satisfied with the way the skrit came out, but it just seemed that they rushed and didn't really care about making sure they did the best job they could have. The price was fine- a bit on the expensive side but fine.
All About Chinatown Tours
This is a great tour of San Francisco- its not just Chinatown its a general tour of the city that includes china town and gives you time to walk around that area and explore the cute little shops (they sell lots of stuff there- teapots, dishes, slippers, lanterns, linens, pillows, bedding, souvenirs- basically everything you can wait for really good prices). You can also have some delicious dim sum. The tour really gives you a great experience of China Town and the city and is a really good way to spend an afternoon (tour takes about 4 hours) and it is not very expensive either- especially for the quality of the tour.
Floyd Andrews Law Office
This is sort of a smaller law office- its not a large practice but it is a general practice firm so you can get help with pretty much any type of legal problem. I needed a lawyer to help with some contracats I was signing and I went here to have them look them over and give advice. They were professional and knowledgeable, the officers were very nice and the staff was friendly. Overall Iw ould recommend it. It was not cheap, but it was less expensive then a very large firm would be. I'd recommend you check them out if you need a lawyer.
American Airporter Shuttle
This company will pick you up at the door and take you to the airport; or pick you up at the airport and take you to the door. I have used this type of service a lot, and Americna Airporter is a bit more expensive then some, but comparably priced to most- not noticely costly. The staff is friendly and nice and help you load your luggage into the van. You also don't need to make reservations too far in advance- just I think 24 hours if you want them to pick you up at home; and if you are at the airport they usually have vans their and you don't have to call ahead.
Copy Pro
This is a wonderful copy shop- you can either go in and make copies or print or fax things yourself; or you can drop off special projects for them to print or copy or create for you. Its of course cheaper to copy yourself- and is very reasonably priced and comparable to any other copy shop (and I feel much cheaper then paying for print cartridges). It is a bit more if you have them do a professional copy job or print job for you, but they do a very nice job and the brochures I had them print came out looking extremely high quality.
Planning & Financial Advisors
I went to this company for some financially advisery services- I wanted to get advice on saving, budgeting and investing for the future. I was very pleased- I spoke with someone very knowledgeable who took the time to talk to me and understand my needs and what I wanted out of the planning process. The cost was right- not too expensive especially for the lengthy consultation and high quality service.
Pretty Nails
I was not at all impressed with this place. I went here to get a simple manicure and I found the staff to be sort of rude. They told me I would wait about 10 minutes and I ended up waiting closer to half an hour for someone to see me- and they did not seem to care that I was kept waiting as the staff stood around chatting with each other while customers were waiting. When I finally was helped the manicure was fine but not special, and the person who did it was also not especially friendly- so cost was ok, job was ok- wait was long and staff was rude. Don't recommend this place.
