Pier 39
Pier 39 is a really cool place to go especially if you are touring San Francisco. They have some really neat stores there although their prices are on the expensive side, but what do you expect from a tourist spot. I do like the area where you can watch the sea lions, that at least is free for all.
Krazy Kaps
When my kids and I were at the Fishermans Wharfs Pier 39 we couldnt help but wander into the Krazy Kaps store because of all the really funny hats they have displayed at the front of their store. We had a great time trying on this hat and that hat and laughing at each other. But I wouldnt buy any of their hats though since their prices are touristy high.
San Pablo Billiards
I have only played at the San Pablo Billiards a couple of times and I would have to say that I would rate it as just satisfactory. The place just mainly has pool tables for pool and not much of anything else to offer. The location is not really appealing either because it is not really a safe area to be at night.
Blue Sky Sports
Blue Sky Sports is a small shop that has plenty to offer. They have batting cages on the side of the store if you want to practice. The store itself sells a variety of sports related merchandise like shoes, clothing, games like dart boards. They also provide services like lettering and embroidering on clothing.
Aquarium Of The Bay
I tried out this museum when I was at Pier 39 with my kids a couple of years ago and though it would be a neat and educational place for them to see. Unfortunately, I thought it was a waste of our time and a waste of my money. It was just a short tube of some sea creatures you see through the glass and that was the whole museum.
Wax Museum At Fisherman's Whrf
Ive only been in the Wax Museum once just to try it out and I definitely will never go again. The outside looks really cheap and cheesy and the inside exhibits are no where much better either. I though it was a waste of my money and I would not recommend anyone to waste their hard earned money in this museum.
Exploratoriom
The Exploratorium is a not only a tourist attraction but also a great science museum. It has a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. The building itself is a famous San Francisco landmark. The museum within contains a great many exhibits are great fun for adults and kids alike. I definitely would recommend a visit to anyone visiting San Francisco or even those that live in the Bay area.
Alemany Farmers Market
I used to go to the Alemany Farmers Market a lot when I lived in the Daly City area a few years ago. This place has a private parking lot and permanent stalls for the vendors. Every Saturday there are a lot of vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, plants and other items sold here to hundreds of people.
Casino San Pablo
I have only been to the Casino San Pablo a couple of times and I would have to say that its an okay place to go for some casino fun. The building reminds me of Arabian palace with the domed roofs and palm trees in front. They have plenty of parking and they also have a restaurant within.
Lucky Chances Casino
I used to go to Lucky Chances Casino when I lived in the Daly City area a few years ago. They have quite a crowd that go there on the weekends for the casino games. Luckily its a pretty big place and they have a pretty big parking lot. The staff a friendly and if you get hungry the food in their restaurant is very good.
