Meyerland Jewelers
A beautiful store with a lot to offer! The have a great selection of diamond bands, wedding sets, watches and many gemstone sets. I love all the pearl collections.
They recently change locations in November 2005 to the larger part of Meyerland shopping center and are now near Pier 1. The new location is spectacular!
Sacred Heart Catholic Church
You will see many families here! Mass is about 50-60 minutes. Times are at 9 and 10:30 on Sundays and there is plenty of parking on the weekends. They have a great Sunday school program. I have noticed that compared to other churches in the are, that there are many more young families here.
Saint Helens Catholic Church
We love St Helens and have been parishioners there for 5 years. They offer masses at 9, 11 and 5 on Sundays. Parking is sometimes a bit limited now that they have built a new church in the parking lot. Mass usually runs about 1 hour 20 minutes which can be a little long if you have and infant and/or toddler.
Friendswood Hardware & Supply
You can find just about everything here at such great prices too! It is nice to be able to find helpful employees at a local store! They sell lumbar, power tools and all the usual basics. Even some home decor. Nice selction of wall fixtures too!
Strickland Chevrolet
Nice and friendly employees, but I would definitely say the selection is lacking. Yes, they can order you just about anything...but you will most likely pay prieum price. It is a local business and it nice to be able to take your vehicle somewhere locally to be serviced. The also sell Ford too!
Ron Carter Ford-Toyota-Jeep
We just bought a Tahoe there and are very happy. They had some many vehicles to choose from. Every make was available in every color. The area is clean and neat. The finace department is nice and helpful and doea not push you into using their program ver your own finance choices. The people were very helpful in making our selection. We love every thing but the new car note ;)
Silverline Dry Cleaners
Definitely not my favorite cleaners and definitely not the best prices in the neighborhood. They did do a pretty good job, but I felt like for the quality of work that the prce was a bit expensive. They clean all the traditional things there like pants, shirts, and dresses as well as blankets and jackets.
