Bardstown Road Bicycles
Bardstown Road Bicycles is the only store I have bought bikes from in Louisville. My children have always enjoyed going here and picking out a bike. The workers at the store are so friendly and helpful. They will allow you to take your time picking out a bike. You never feel rush; even through my children can take so long picking out just the right bike. The prices are good and the selection is great. This store even has bike rentals. Parking can be tricky, but sometimes you get lucky with a spot on the road in fromt of the store.

Muth's Candy Store
My family has always shopped at Muths Candy Store, especially during Easter and Christmas. I can remember getting huge Easter baskets filled with the best tasting candy from Muths when I was younger. My parents would always pick up a chocolate Dutch boy and girl for our baskets, along with some of the cutest little chocolate rabbits and chicks. All their candy is so good. I have continued to go to Muths and buy candy for my children on holidays as well. The candy is more expensive then what you get at grocery stores, but well worth the extra money. The store is small and you just walk behind counters and help yourself to the candy. Parking can be a problem, because there is no parking lot. You must find a spot on the side of the road.

Four Seasons Tan & Hair Salon
When traveling on a business trip I needed to get my hair cut and styled. A person in my hotel recommended this place, and I am glad I gave it a try. The people were nice enough to give me an appointment right away. The woman who cut and styled my hair was so talkative and friendly. She did a great job on my hair. The prices were very low, compared to what I pay in Louisville. The waiting area was bright and sparkling clean. There were not a lot of parking spots, but I did not have any trouble finding a place to park close by the salon.

Feeders Supply Corporate Hq
I need a good pet supply store since I have three cats and feed a few stray cats. The prices at Feeders Supply are good. There are terrific sales in which you can get cat food at cheap prices all the time. The selection of dry and soft cat food is better than what is found at other pet stores in town. They carry Wellness and Pro Pan which are two of my favorite brands. They encourage people to bring their pets into the store. This store has cats and dogs up for adoption from Shamrock. If you are looking for another pet, please think about adopting one from this store. There is plenty of parking, but this area of town is not the best.

CONS: long lines on occasion
