They are a new gym and have a particular teaching plan for each class, so all teacher although different personlaties still teach the same thing in a particular class ( ie beginner tumbling). They are very inflexible about make-up classes unless the child is sick or injured, even if they have space and you plan ahead. The teachers are great, firm with the kids on "teams" and very patience with the kids just into going once a week. I just would not recommend it for the family that travels a lot as you will pay for time you can't use.
PROS: Great teachers, clean space, good standards
CONS: inflexible with travel plans, small parent waiting area gets very crowded.
I went in there to browse and found some wonderful collectible disney pins that are a rare find now. Still boxed in their original boxes and very reasonably priced. They had a lot of other fun, eclectic stuff to check out too. If you are looking for china or furniture replicas I would suggest taking a peek inside.
I use them to refill scuba bottles and they are very professional and courteous, they are careful about always checking the bottle and making sure that it is properly dated and inspected. They offer a multi-refill card which saves a little cash in the long run. Also they offer classes and are very familiar with the local diving areas.
Had some work done on cars there, some thing were cheaper than other local places and some were similar or a bit high, but I never felt taken advantage of there. They offer to do a car inspection for under $ 25 when you are considering buying a used car. I would go there for diagnostics and they will either order parts for you, or do the work. IF they do the work the parts are guaranteed, if they don't correct your problem they will try again and return your old part if that wasn't the problem.
They are a great store with a good selection of instruments, books and accessories. They also offer music lessons, my husband took guitar there for a while and was really enjoying it, and learning quite a bit, they were reasonably priced and the instructor was very good.
You can't beat it, everything is 50% off, I love a good deal. They have a ton of stickers and printed papers, also a good selection of card stock and loads of die cuts. I think it is a great place to try things that you are curious about without commiting to the bigger price tag. Check them out regularly as they get new stuff in all the time.
Just taken over by new owners maybe a year or so ago. They are so helpful and as the business grows they get more and more stuff in. Lots of classes and also they offer a consignment area, great place to get rid of those tools you don't use anymore, while shopping for your new stuff. The ladies there will take the time to help you with whatever they can scrapbooking wise.
They have a little of everything, from lasting impressions, and quickutz to K & Company and tons of stuff in between. I love to go there and browse the aisle. They offer classes and are very friendly and knowledgeable. I think if they keep getting more stuff in they will need to find a bigger building, but everything is organized and while they have narrow aisle to house everything, it is easy to look around, you don't feel like it is one chaotic mess, as I have in some bigger chain stores. Tehy also let you use Michael's and Joann's coupons for up to 25% off.
Kids really enjoy the black out skate, my daughter have been their for open skate and several private birthday parties. I think the birthdays are really good. You have the place to yourselves and they do all the serving, they give the kids prizes for games, they give out glow sticks, they keep the kids going with skate games, and skating. You can even bring your own CD's for both so that you can roll to your favorite tunes.
This zoo has quite a bit of animals considering it is in a small local area. There are new exhibits opening up all the time. They opened up a bat house in Oct 2004 and most recently an area for a komodo dragon. There are orangutans, gorillas, chimps, lions, tigers, black bears, new coyotes, wild dogs, zebras, and camels. Just to name a few of the animals there. Small concession area, but you can bring a picnic lunch, they have tables before the entrance, then you can return to the zoo. Don't forget about Zoo Lights, they decorate for the holidays and it usually draws a pretty good crowd at night.
