I shop here whenever I need a religious gift. They have all the usual items for baptisms, first communions, weddings, births, deaths, and other ceremonies. The staff was helpful in picking things out and were very friendly to me. The prices aren't too high, and they have a nice selection of gifts.
Bought my fiance's engagement ring here. The selection is huge, and I had no idea what to get, so they helped me pick out one that was nice and not too hard on the pocketbook, either. Very friendly people. Prices seemed lower than the other jewelers I was shopping at. I'd wait for a sale, as it seems they have them a lot.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Quality is fine, but I wouldn't say any better than others. Family owned business, so you feel safe dealing with them. I prefer to do most of my photo development online, since it is cheaper, but if I need prints quickly I use Waldens. They also have a nice portrait studio with reasonable package deals.
Inventory is somewhat limited and prices are kind of high. Staff is knowledgeable, but sometimes can make you feel inferior explaining things to you. They seem to repair things in a timely fasion , but repair prices seem steep, (I guess all places charge a lot for repairs). If you are just buying parts and don't need installation, I would recommend shopping elsewhere or online to save money.
My parents always took their car to Jeffries Auto for repair, so when I got my first car, I chose Jeffries, too. Good service, they have mechanics you can actually talk to. Their prices aren't sky-high like a dealership repair center. They are honest and won't recommend services that you don't need. I have been using them for almost 20 years.
This place sells all kinds of exercise equipment and related products, such as supplements and clothing. From a 1 pound dumbbell to a complete home gym, this place has it all. They have a huge warehouse on-site, so everything is usually in stock.
The staff is super friendly and can help you figure out exactly what you need. They also have a gym set up with all of the latest equipment to work out on. It only costs $1 per workout. Awesome deal.
Conveniently located at the Crossroads Shopping Center. 12 theaters-most of them have stadium seating. Concession prices are very high-typical nowadays. Theater is currently closed due to a complete remodel and expansion. Scheduled to be open in December of 2005. Staff consists mainly of unenthusiastic high school students. I recommend the matinees--cheaper and less crowded.
Small-town movie theatre with prices that can't be beat. Admission to any movie is only 99 cents. What's the catch?
-they only have two theaters
-only showtimes are 7pm and 7:30pm
-no stadium seating
-they usually don't get the latest blockbusters until after they've been released for a couple weeks
If you can live with that, this is a great place to take the family for a movie. Concessions are reasonably priced, and the people in this town are extremely nice!
Bought a new car here in summer of 2005. They don't make you haggle on the price. Instead, they mark on the windshied their "bottom line pricing". It's a marked down price which is the same for everyone. Salesmen didn't try to pressure me into a decision. They were friendly, but sometimes not the most knowledgeable when it came to specs on the cars.
Was treater here once for work related pains. The therapist was excellent at diagnosing exactly what was wrong and treated me accordingly. He explained ways to prevent the same injuries in the future. The facilities appeared a little outdated. Had a "low-budget" feel to it. Overall, the entire staff was friendly and helpful.
PROS: friendly, knowledgeable staff
CONS: outdated facilities
