This place is not recommended at all if you're looking for computer parts or hardware. You can find so many places on the internet---even Amazon, eBay, and the like---where you can buy your stuff!

Ridiculously overpriced. I have my doubts that anyone would come here regularly.

Scandinavian Designs

This store has a lot of attractive furniture that will attract even the most casual shopper.

But, as most college students can tell you, this place will stretch your budget quite a bit.

The store is located conveniently in the heart of Berkeley. This is a plus. The help is nice and courteous as well.

PROS: Friendly service, GREAT location
CONS: Prices

Viking Trader

This place is OVERPRICED!

The selection is decent, but don't expect any great deals here at all. Being situated relatively close to IKEA doesn't help make the casual furniture shopper (or college student) particularly fond of this place.

Granted, IKEA furniture is not meant to last, but if you are in the market to buy something of value, you wouldn't expect to go to Viking Trader anyway. IKEA is recommended over this place.

Yoga Kula

This is a great place to start your journey into yoga if you are a beginner.

They offer lots of classes spread apart throughout the day so that even the most busy individual can take part in the classes here.

The instructors are friendly and the facilities are great. This place is highly recommended. You might want to bring a car as the location is reachable only by car however.

Northern California Martial

The teachers at this school are very good and very knowledgeable. However, they are very busy most of the time, if you decide to take a class, and you wil have to fight for their attention.

The school is not very orderly at times, and it is crowded for a lot of the more popular classes.

However, if you can overlook these slight flaws, you will be able to experience great martial arts instruction for a reasonable price.

PROS: Great instruction, great value
CONS: Cramped facilities

Tpd Karaoke Corporation

The guys at Tpd Karaoke sure know how to price their products. They are the cheapest in town for whatever you are planning to buy. I found a $100 mic in there for only $10!

Excellent. To boot, the workers are very friendly and helpful.

PROS: Good prices
CONS: Somewhat bad location

Super King Food Ctr

This grocery store is UNDENIABLY the cheapest in town.

they have some great deals on almost everything: seafood, meats, dairy...with an emphasis on asian fare. Their handling procedures are somewhat questionable.

The building is an eyesore, and the maintenance on the inside is shabby. Nonetheless the prices ARE cheap here.

PROS: Nice prices
CONS: Bad upkeep

Stockton Acupuncture Clinic

This acupuncture clinic has a fairly high wait time and turnaround time so make sure you have something to do. When I went to the clinic, I ended up waiting for an hour (even though I was on time) for someone to help me out.

Otherwise, the business is relatively good. Their service is okay, but their management/scheduling is bad.

University Art Museum

This museum is located conveniently just off of campus.

It showcases a lot of great modern pieces and is very attractive.

Definitely a great place to bring the family and friends.

Ramirez Carrie Dds

This dentist is the best in town. She is so friendly and is very attentive to your needs.

I had to have a root canal when I visited, but this doctor made it seem like no trouble!

They are very accomodating, friendly, and very willing to work with you, which is hard to find in Stockton.

They are conviently located in Quail Lakes next to the freeway, which is very close to a lot of major stores in Stockton.

PROS: Great Service, friendly atmosphere
CONS: None
