They have inexpensive ones and expensive ones. They carry the frame, futon, bedding, and accessories for a large number of lines. We purchased a middle priced one because some of the more inexpensive ones on display were already showing signs of breakage. Good prices during their specials, usually in August when kids are going to college.
PROS: good selection and decent prices
CONS: stay away from the cheap sets, they will not last!
If you are looking for contemporary furniture and accessories, this is a good place to look. They carry a little bit of everything, but the prices match the higher end items they sell. If you catch a close-out or clearance it become more reasonable.
PROS: great contemporary furniture
CONS: extremely expensive
We bought a oak bedroom set, including a queen waterbed not long ago. They have quite a selection of waterbed and standard beds in all sizes, with sets to match. Their prices are competitive and they are good with customer service after the sale.
PROS: great selection, good customer service
CONS: some sets are very expensive
This unique museum has an actual suspended plane that kids can go in and on. It has rooms and rooms of things to explore and educate. It also has a small circus that performs on the upper floor for an additional fee. This really holds the kids interest for a while and is a good distraction on a rainy or cold day.
PROS: downtown, fun and educational
CONS: costly for a large family, circus is extra cost
I have attended several ochestral and choral programs here and must say that the acoustics are awesome. It has been refurbished to its original condition and looks wonderful. If you ever get a chance to see a program here, do it!
PROS: great acoustics, great setting
CONS: expensive refreshments, parking
This comedy shop is in part of a redesigned grocery store, which makes the layout terrible for viewing the stage from many of the seats. It is too small to draw big name comedians so they mainly have local or regional comics, most of which I don't find that funny. The drink prices are too high and the shows too short.
PROS: local comics get to get started
CONS: bad layout, short shows, expensive drinks
I have attended several sporting events (hockey) and several concerts here. I have sat both close and pretty far away from the action /stage and can say that all the seats are pretty good. Parking is a pain, the attached garage does not hold nearly enough for a capacity crowd.
PROS: Attracts pro sports and big name music artists
CONS: parking is hard to find and prices are pretty high for concessions
This is a smaller version of what most cities have for hockey / basketball etc. It seats about 5000 and give you the feeling of being closer to the action / stage. I attended a concert here and the acoustics, while not great, were pretty good for a general arena. I would go here again for an event.
PROS: smaller, better proximity to action / stage, easier parking
CONS: smaller, less seats for events, away from downtown
I had the unfortunate circumstance of running off a dark country road and into a ditch. I called my husband who called D & L, who dispatched a truck to the scene in 30 minutes. They were able to winch the car out of the ditch without damaging the under-carriage. They were polite and professioinal and knew their stuff. It did cost $100 to get him out to this site and get the car onto the roadway.
PROS: experienced in towing and winching, reliable
CONS: somewhat costly
I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and efficiency at which my car was repaired at this local shop. It was competitively priced and done right the first time. They do just about everything from engines to body work, although I only had some engine work done here. Very happy with this store.
PROS: experienced mechanics, professional service, less costly
CONS: may not be the best for body work, small shop that can get booked up fast
